This fight's gonna go on for a while...
But space is explorable. Death is? Conscience is? We will have a way to reach these states of "being" in our lifetime? Let the next generations deal with it, I'd rather lead the average American life than sit here and rant on about things I have no idea of what they mean.
I'm supposed to use my valuable time on Earth to try and use my small human brain to process information completely beyond our realm of thinking?
I think you're made Inv3rted.
What if I'm Jewish.
Evidence gathered after they go through the process of scientific experimentation. Even with all this evidence, can you still conclusively prove things that happened far before human consciousness even existed? Everything that happened later than 2000 years is till up to a lot of debate because there is no way for certain to put together an entire history based off of some cave paintings and a few sparse bones here and there.
Writing existed before the Bible, you arrogant cunt.
That's like me saying that Dinosaurs probably ate candy bars because we found a candy wrapper and a few dinosaur bones in close proximity. That is a beginning to scientific theory. It will later be proven wrong, but a lot of things we assumed about dinosaurs have been proven wrong even when we had all this evidence right in front of our noses. Evidence and theory and facts do not make scientific fact. It is the gathering of like-minded people who all collectively believe in one thing to make it into something real for everyone else. Sounds a bit like a religion to me.
Google scientific theory. Can you test that dinosaurs had candy wrappers? No? Okay. It's not a theory, you're just handicapped.
Faith isn't an exclusive to religion. Many scientists have faith or belief that their theories will work, otherwise, why try them in the first place? Science has a lot more faith than you care to admit.
Also, most of the most intelligent people were shunned and made fun of for their beliefs until they eventually were proven right. I'll take this as a step in the right direction. :)
