Zenthrox can be disregarded because he's a creationist. Until you people explain to me how every animal in the fossil record existed at the same exact moment (and refute the actual evidence for evolution, which I'm sure you don't even know about), I am going to say "forget you and have a nice day" every time you open your mouth.

You should only overclock if you have a third-party heatsink.  I have a core i7 920, that I'm planning to take to 3.2ghz.  If I had stuck with the stock heatsink I would fry it, but instead I got a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus, that works really well, and I should be able to take it to 3.6 if I wanted.

You can overclock pretty far on stock heatsinks.
