Would you stop stuffting all over this thread? You've already stated your opinion; no need to do it 50 more times.

Also, have you even seen Ponyo? I haven't, but I want to. Anything by Miyazaki = WO.

What's with anime?  I don't find it that great.

Generalizing something like anime is like generalizing a genre like rock.

Creativity / Re: Favorite Drawing Software?
« on: August 30, 2009, 05:34:00 PM »
I use Paint.net to draw as well as base color. I use Photoshop to do the rest, even if I have to draw a background, I usually do it in Photoshop.

Also, I don't know what thread it was in, but I saw somebody talk crap about certain tools people use, like curvy line tools and such. I am going to respond to this here, due to the subject of this thread.. I can assure you, the tools do not make the artist. If a person sucks, they will still suck no mater what tool they use. These tools are only bad when people don't know how to use them right, or just simply are not good enough to know how to generate the shapes they are imagining. It's up to you how you create that shape, but it's only going to happen right if you are more accurate in creating what you see in your mind. It also depends on if the person is trying to take a shortcut or not.

Tools like line tools are useful if you don't have a good tablet, or if you simply don't have great control of your hand. Even if you might suck at drawing lines, you can still create art with shapes from your mind.

K-ON! in itself is quite a good anime.
Go watch it.

DO IT, friend.

Also, I didn't make my avatar, but I like it. It was originally twice the size so the quality kinda got assforgeted. :(

The speed isn't that bad, it's just the poor service. They randomly cut service for a few seconds at a time, and that interrupts whatever I'm doing. It forgets up streaming videos, as well as downloads. Not to mention that they want me to downgrade before they allow me to change router settings (their modem that they supplied is a modem/router combination) so I can't port forward. The only other option in the area at the moment is DSL, because FiOS isn't available in all of Manhattan yet. :c
