I see emulation as preservation, yeah emulation may be "evil" in a political sense, but see that the aim of emulation is to honour the legacy of the games which, without emulation, would have been forgotten by the time or remained in obscurity

Of course there are alternatives, emulationscene will never die, I has been going on for decades, if one source isn't available anymore(emuparadise.com) we can look for another one.

The problem is that they only include %20 of the entire rom database, and they give no forgets for the rest

in regard to this, one of the rom sites that I used to be the most when I was kid is coolrom.com, the site hasn't been taken down, but the entire nintendo roms database was deleted, that made me really upset
