The daemon charges at the other acolyte. He manages to parry one of its hits but the other kills him right in the dead.
You charge at it and cut it's skull open while it's preoccupied with its newest kill.
The inquisitor is not too far from here.

After equipping your storm bolter, power sword, and power armor, you and the other acolytes report to the docking bay. Your inquisitor briefs you on the situation.
A short while ago, a xenos artifact was uncovered in one of the mines on the planet. The xenos technology contained in it could help the imperium considerably. As an ordo xenos inquisitor, it is his job to oversee its extraction and study.
Everything goes normally at first when you arrive.
Two days later, as the artifact is being studied, a warp rift opens and the entire planet is overrun with daemons.
