Example: Nitroglycerin was first synthesized in 1847, and has been used as an active ingredient in the manufacture of explosives. It was produced in large quantities during WW1 and WW2.
Today, nitroglycerin is also used medically as a vasodilator to treat heart conditions, such as angina and chronic heart failure. wiki
In the future, we will be using guns to cure disease.

It's mostly made up of even numbers. You wouldn't have pointed out the glowy orange part of the grenade unless it wasn't important.
So I'm going to have to say even.
