You go over and sit down at the bar two seats over from the iconian. He looks at you, then goes back to his drink in silence.

: What'll it be? : I'll take an urik ale. : Sure. Just one second.

As he gets the drink, is there any specific thing you want to talk about?

I was trying to say that extraterrestrial human settlements are very, very unlikely to happen. Even though we can send men to the Moon, maybe even to Mars, we aren't able to build lifesupporting colonies there. And going beyond our solar system? Forget about it. The technological challenges are way too large. Not to mention that the journey itself would take hundreds or thousands of generations.

You're talking as if technology won't ever get more advanced from today.

Tell him that the Iconians did it all, play stupid and ask him for details about said Iconian fleet, and then say there's not much you can do about it.

Sounds like something that could land you in trouble later, just go with the Iconians did it all story.

inform him its almost certainly the iconians' fault the eldritch appeared; they were the ones storming the temple as far as you know. give pictures and stuff.

Sell the autocannon and buy a Torcreep tube and four HE Warheads and one EMP. Also Sell the weakest of the energy weapons and equip the torcreep tube.
