I've heard the flamboyant argument many times in this topic, but people phrase it like a generalization, which kind of puts us back at square one of understanding the correlation of curries and flamboyant furries and zoophiles.
In simpler terms, think of the hundreds of thousands of furries everywhere. Split those two groups into zoophiles and furries. At the zoophiles, split those again into the current ones on the Internet. Now split it again with the number of lying zoophiles trying to earn respect from other liars. Therefore, not every furry wants to forget animals.

Also, I have absolutely no problem with furries; they can even make good friends. The only issue is ones that run their special interesty art/research/etc in your face. Like Night Fox.
I figured you wouldn't bring this up, seeing as the art is just lines on paper.
