the majority of gay people that i have seen dress gay

the majority of gay people you've seen have been unbeknownst to you as they aren't super flamboyant. The majority of gay people i've seen dress gay because that's the stereotypical view of a homoloveual so they stand out. you've probably passed by hundreds of closeted gays

it's interesting because in feel that the world hasn't come around to gays yet, but i see people wearing burkas all the time and i never think twice about it

however, i also live in the Bay Area, one of the most liberal and progressive places in the country

so it does depend on where Kaiiu is posting from

if you dress like a technicolor elton john and expect for complete tolerance and acceptance you are being silly. there are plenty of gay people i know who don't dress like that.
