The same applies, you're only prolonging the lives of likely unadoptable animals.

They keep them forever, though in that area of Texas, as you said, many of them would not be adopted, though here in Virginia, they would go out quicker than a Justin Bieber Album.

You do realise, that the animals that aren't adopted from the shelters after * months are killed anyway, to save money. PETA kills 90%+ of animals it houses because they're "not adoptable". Regardless of whether you pay or not, the animals considered unadoptable are going to be shot anyway. Better yet, if you don't pay, they get put out of their misery earlier!

Spend those $19 a month on mountain dew or an arc welding it or something.
Or this. Every month.

Donate to a humane society. They actually need and will use that money. Or better yet, buy the a couple supplies at a dollar tree and donate it to the Humane society.

Also, animal life =/= human life

Sure these people are friends for doing it but anything above 5 years is overdoing it.

What about some hick that kills a neigbor's dog with a shot gun because it accidently walked into his backyard through a hole in the fence that the Hick failed to fix? Sorry about that one post, it's just that my neighbor's dog got killed the same way and in Texas there were a lot of dead dogs due to animal killers. That commercial made me lose my cool.
