A few months ago the genre made me feel unique while everyone else had their rap, pop, and rock. Now sometimes I feel like a tool.
Why did some "artist" take some underground music genre and make it mainstream.
I don't have anything against dubstep, because I love it. However, I prefered to listen to it when no one in my IRL life knew about it. Then when Skrillex became top cheese, stuff hit the ceiling. Now I hear it blaring around every corner off of stuffty phones, and whatnot. Even my sister blares it when she's in her room.
There's only 1 person I know who knows of true dubstep. The underground stuff that's good.
The next person to turn some genre mainstream should be shot.
because things cost money
