It still depends quite a bit on personal choice. Sure, hormone variations and the environment can have an effect, but it doesn't make you gay without a choice. There are certain genes which produce less serotonin in people who tend to be more violent, yet still have some restraint. But they aren't born violent.

But the argument that it's OK because animals do it (homoloveual intercourse) can be justified for a lot of other things that human society looks down on as of now

Are they saying the emotion of hate towards anything is an easy choice you can back out of, even if it isn't towards a social group or general group of people? And the choice to be homoloveual is not actually a choice but something you are forced to do? Is the general emotion of hate more restrain-able than loveual tendencies, no matter what they may be? I wish people for social causes like this would actually use specific arguments that are harder to misinterpret.
