A large majority of all abortions and pregnancies can be avoided by being careful during love.

Irrelevant. By this thought process, every sperm cell and every unfertilized ovum should be saved because they could potentially become a human.

I was a bit unclear in that statement, I meant for embryos that are in the process of developing into a possibly healthy human. There are chances of miscarriages and such however, so I included the word "potential" which may have been poor word choice for my intended point. Also, your body naturally reabsorbs and interjects excess sperm cells, so saving them in a hypothetical situation like that would be dang near impossible without changing the entire chemistry of the body lol

The embryo is just a cluster of cells. It has no brain. It does not think. It is not a human being any more than an amoeba is.

It still has the potential to be a human. Killing that would be like your parents not allowing you to be educated from birth because you aren't any knowledgeable than a newborn monkey, yet you still have the potential to become more educated than that monkey (Most likely at least) and that education would cost some amount of easily obtainable resources.

Not biologically. If the mother wants to stop supporting the child after birth she can just kick it out.

I know I am comparing them in different senses, but it seems unfair considering the embryo did nothing to be in that situation, and must be killed for being created because they have a careless host who (MOST LIKELY) agreed to participate in the unintentional creation of them.

But aren't most humans "parasites" themselves, even outside the woman and grown up? Taking whatever they want from the world, destroying environmental for material wants, fighting among one another due to greed, conflicting ideologies, and the want for power by taking from others? Plus, we choose to be "parasites", the embryos have no other choice. We are using resources from Mother Earth right now just by debating here.

Just food for thought

It seems like every time Facebook updates, people tend to get stupider and stupider.

I am pro-life but even I think these chain letters are annoying too. They only appeal to emotion and not intellect.

I'm not sure if this post went through because you seem to be ignoring it.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orphanage#United_States

It seems that orphanages are actually decentralizing and improving in quality.

Also, did you know the natural bi product of eating is stuff? How DARE you flush that toilet.

Except uncareful love for only the intent of pleasure isn't necessary to survive lol. Plus, are you really comparing the waste products of a necessary natural life process to the natural function of love which is reproduction (and is also not necessary to sustain your own life believe it or not)?

ALSO, ACCORDING TO THE MOST RECENT STUDIES, ONLY 1% OF ABORTIONS ARE DUE TO RAPE AND INCEST COMBINED.

you're honestly suggesting that a 14 year old should raise a baby and have to pay the medical costs associated with childbirth
please die in every fire ever

Given up for adoption

Preferably to another family rather than an orphanage.

And it's funny how everyone keeps using situations with extenuating circumstances as the only real selling point for people like me who aren't for killing natural products of mating before they are born.

but why force a 14 year old to give birth or have a c section when they can have an abortion

Because the organism should have a right to life.

Again, was it consensual or rape?

I believe in abortion and all people who are going to come at me about it should go die in a pit.

I believe abortion exists too.

>ugly scar

So you are going to complain about a scar eh?

I was born by C-section, only biological child to a 40 year old mother at the time. Her scar is healing very well, it barely shows anymore. If women in that situation are so self conscious about a scar that can easily be covered with a shirt and treated with lotions to appear less profoundly, they should have not been screwing around in the first place, at least without protection. If it's a rape victim, at least they weren't killed and they should value their lives and the life that they choose to save inside them rather than worry about a stupid scar. Heck, I still have 5 - 7 hypertrophic (slightly excess built up scar tissue) scars from a crappy surgeon who did a really bad job at removing some of my bigger moles (over a year ago too) which would have been very likely to develop skin cancer, and I couldn't care less about them. Most scar pictures that I see from c-sections don't even have scar tissue build up. If society is so self conscious and weak like that, then I might as well not be for it.
