It's OBVIOUS that this topic was at least trying to initiate a conversation trying to discuss the possibilities and repercussions that would occur if our understanding and trust in the function of the natural world was completely shattered. Trying to focus it about a long going bickering filled debate over the true gender identity of a person that you constantly seem to show radical hate for is not exactly being on topic, and only serves to try to gain negative attention from Stocking.
Anyways, back on topic, didn't people freak out during the late 1800's/early 1900's when aspects of Newtonian Physics were disproved/heavily revised? Oh wait, that was called the Age of Anxiety. I could easily see one coming if any major scientist such as Darwin or Einstein were disproved or had their theories heavily revised.

because a pretty damn big lot of them are simultaneously hiptsers, attention whores, and/or "rebels." they basically want to feel special and want people to pay attention to them. that is why everyone at dodger's school is apparently so apalled with him, because they're shocked that he's above them and is treating them as normal people, which is what normal gays and lesbians are.

There are whites, blacks, asians, hispanic, mixes, nicez, mean, straight, gay and so many other subcategories. In my high school we have a club that discusses heteroloveuals, homoloveuals, lesbians, transgendered and so on. We had posters that cajole us to have pride in being gay. You're school should do the same but my high school is exceptionally high standard so there's less bullying.
I would have not hated the gay club in my school if they didn't act all cutely feminine yet annoying with guys wearing stickers with stuff like "MY FAVORITE COLOR IS RAINBOW :3" and "ASK ME ABOUT MY COOL STORY, BRO ;)" and try to color up everything and try to publicly weaken me by making me where crap like that.
