It's wednesday morning and there are 20 people on. I'm guessing this isn't peak times, what's the average playercount at peak times lately? Is anyone hosting anything interesting?

Off Topic / how do you make RPG combat fun

i'm absolutely stumped on how to make RPG combat fun without involving some sort of minigame within combat, like how Paper Mario or Undertale do their combat
because there's really no way to give the player a test of skill by giving them a set of buttons and an infinite amount of time to choose between them as far as I can tell
so it really comes down to level, equipment, whether the player knows how to fight that kind of enemy, and whether RNGesus wants them to win the fight
all of which is either A, out of the player's control, or B, something that the player can change by grinding

General Discussion / Would you install an infection add-on that worked across servers?

The zombie infection thing Mr. LoL did around Halloween this year, except automated. Possibly with forced appearance changes, possibly not. Doesn't affect gameplay for those who don't care. I'm considering making one if there's interest,  maybe even if there isn't just to see if I can.

Nobody may speak until the BLF goes down. Just join in case of that eventuality. No pings, no messages. Not a joke, just a way of organizing some replacement in case Baddy decides the show's over.

Not saying the BLF will go down soon. It might go on for years, or today might be the last day. We don't know. Better safe than sorry, in my opinion. Join in case others want to reach you, too. The more people the better.

Modification Help / Does anyone know how the movehandler .dll works?

I have no clue how to use this .dll, all I know is that it's supposed to let the server get movement input from clients without needing a client addon.
I don't see any readme files in it anywhere nor any meaningful comments in the source files.

EDIT: also it seems to cause a crash when I use the admin orb

Help / Default colorset uses two formats?

Ever looked at the default colorset? No? Here's the first color, red.

0.900 0.000 0.000 1.000This isn't the 0-to-255 integers-only color format I know how to work with and that most programs use. How do I convert it into that format?

Bonus points if it just adds columns to the end of the default colorset.
