tbone steaks, garden butterbean peas, "japanese dinner rolls"

we usually have cornish game hens stuffed with wild rice mixed with almonds and sauteed mushrooms alongside rolls and sparkling grape juice, but my sister wanted steaks so we're getting steaks instead. and no sparkling grape juice.

also i painted my nails but the topcoat i used has made them gummy so they won't last long sadly

and yea lipstick is p great. this shade is a lil too bright for me though, i look better is darker reds and berry tones.

yea it's pretty exciting. i'll just be on my feet all day with no real breaks for me to go to things like breakout sessions. last conference i went to a computer hardware session and had a nice long chat with the dude after the class and the next day i found out i got a lil award thing bc apparently i left a big impression on him. but yea

yesterday for one of my finals i had to do the hour of code thing. it was p easy, even when i did it with text instead of blocks. i picked the star wars thing and at the end i got to make a "game" by messing with variables and characters, but it was some nightmarish thing where whenever you hit a "good" character it would spawn another "bad" character and whenever you hit a "bad" character it would change the obstacle layout. i got stuck in the obstacles and the game eventually lagged to hell but it was fun to make.

oh also, i get to help people with troubleshooting tech and setting up their systems at a big school conference this coming year. it's basically a big conference where elementary/middle/high schools in the EAST initiative program come to show off the tech-driven projects they've done, so i'm pretty stoked to be able to get hands-on with some of the tech. last year there were schools working with game development, a lot of 3D printing (someone printed a functioning prosthetic hand that they designed), a lot of VR demos, etc etc. and i'll get a snazzy vest thing to let people know that i'm important
