Drama / Modern Warfare 2- Enough already.

Alright seriously, what is so bad about this game that you had to make a topic "Modern stuffware 2"? Its getting as annoying as the olol ps3 no gaems thing. If you hate it, good for you. But dont post how "it sucks", "noob tubing", "wallhack" etc. I have seen it in servers. Just join another one. Great. Problem solved. But seriously, stop with this stuff. I hate dwarf fortress, but I dont post how it sucks. I asked for help on getting it to work again, someone, I think Moriarty, has to post something like "uninstall, dont reinstall". Its getting annoying as hell.

Games / TF2 Keeps losing connection to server when my connection is fine

And yes, this is my third game that's messed up.

It's been happening a lot of times recently, and reconnecting to the server doesn't do stuff. The only way to regain my items is to restart steam. I have to do this 1 time every ~3 matches, and it's getting really annoying. Does anyone have any ideas why?

A new beta is coming soon for Counter-Strike: Source. Details have not been revealed at all but are expected to be revealed once the client is available.

At present, only the dedicated server for the upcoming beta has been released. If you're interested in preparing your server for the beta, please run hldsupdatetool for the game name of "cssbeta" (without the quotes).

Games / Modern Warfare 2 Help

1. Press Play.
2. "preparing to launch Modern Warfare 2"
3. Then the picture of the marine with the Mw2 logo.
4. Then usually, the picture would go away and mw2 would start up. But now, the picture just stays there. It doesn't do anything. And the only way to close it is to restart my computer. Ending the process doesn't do stuff. It asks if it wants to terminate the program, I say yes, then nothing. The picture is still there.

It's free first of all. It's an awesome game, I don't see why no one plays it. There are NO online servers.

D.I.P.R.I.P. is a Half-Life 2 multiplayer total conversion. Gameplay is based on vehicle combat in various post-war environments. Vehicles use multiple weapon mounts which are activated by finding weapons scattered around the battlegrounds. Key locations in the post-war world are rich in uncontaminated water and fuel.

This game requires that you own a Source engine game such as Counter-Strike: Source, Half-Life 2, or Day of Defeat: Source

Minimum: 1.7 GHz Processor, 512MB RAM, DirectX® 8.1 level Graphics Card (Requires support for SSE), Windows® Vista/XP/2000, Mouse, Keyboard, Internet Connection

Ahem. Sorry about that -- we're not sure what came over us. What you see above are some neat GlaDOS (of Portal and Portal 2 fame) plushies from Etsy user Penguinotic. Aside from looking downright huggable, these billowy orbs also spew out catchphrases from the game, which you can hear for yourself in the video below. The existence of cake may be debatable, but the cuteness of these $45 Curiosity Spheres is without question.

Once downloaded, read the readme. If you don't understand that, here's a tl;dr for the readme:

1. Move HPB_Bot2.dll to steam/steamapps/namehere/Team fortress 2/bin
2. Put the rcbot2 folder into Steam\steamapps\email
3. Start TF2.
4. In console, type "plugin_load ..\bin\HPB_Bot2"
5. Now start a CTF server, preferably ctf_turbine
6. Once done loading type this in console:
-sv_cheats 1
-mp_disable_respawn_times 1 (Optional)
-rcbot addbot <1-9> <2-3> name
    1 = scout
    2 = sniper
    3 = soldier
    4 = demoman
    5 = medic ( Bugs )
    6 = hwguy
    7 = pyro ( Bugs )
    8 = Spy
    9 = Engineer

    2 = red
    3 = blu

• Can add multiple bots at a time

As far as I know this is how these two are different

There is a bug where the bots will jump randomly for a second. Kat and I have experienced this. But it still fun to play with these bots. Have fun!
