Whenever I start Blockland, my game never validates my ID. I intend to use the new launcher badspot provided and I'm on a macbook.

I am without inspiration and require something to get me started. I'm looking for reference materials so I can build a ship.

What I DO NOT want:
- stuff that looks like it wouldn't work. I love star trek and star wars as much as the next guy, but their designs are pants-on-head handicapped.
- Something with a lot of curves and rounded sections. Those take time and I do not have a lot of that.
- Small stuff. I've done a lot of escort-sized ships, I'm going to try for something on the scale of a capital ship.
- NO 40K Seriously that stuff's gayer than drak.

Since friday, every time I try to launch steam it tells me my internet connection isn't working. Obviously that's bullstuff since I'm posting here. Does anyone know a way to fix this?

MkIII "Super Wyvern" Heavy Breakthrough tank
After the lessons learned on Klendathu, the Terran confederacy realized that traditional tanks would not suffice. Multi-turreted tanks were designed, with smaller turrets armed with HMGs to engage soft targets while the main turret engaged armor and other fortifications. The Super Wyvern is developed from the MBT-3 Wyvern hull, and is meant to be supported by other Wyverns. She comes with a dual barrel main turret, with 350MM MACs. The lighter turret comes with two heavy machine guns, capable of engaging infantry and even low-flying aircraft.

The Schrodinger's Cat of Blockland clans.
-Two years ago, Ace and Ghoul decided to put together a clan dedicated to the construction of space-themed builds. After approximately five months of activity, the clan reached an inactive state. In January of 2009, the clan was reactivated. This second wind was rather brief, only a month long to be exact, due to Ghoul taking a break from Blockland. Over a year later, we've come to the decision to give the clan one last run. Effective now, the Blockland Alliance Navy is active again. Of course, we anticipate that the clan will inevitably die out again at some point in the future. But for now, let's give it one more go!
The Blockland Alliance Navy is a clan centered around builds of the space/futuristic variety. It's primary leaders are Comr4de and Dread. We search for the best of the best in regards to building and eventing. The ranking system has been thrown out, as it was useless. In it's place we have divided the membership sorting and application process into two divisions.
This is explained further down the page.

Combat: REDUX
Before
- Every day, you may attack another player. You may only attack (at most) once per day.
- Additionally, every week you will receive "Construction points" with which you can accomplish various tasks. Those are discussed further in the text doc I'll provide later. These construction points cannot "roll over" and cannot be saved.
- All combat arguments are solved by flipping a coin. You may resolve combat
- You may resolve combat situations on your own. However, if you suspect the person with the coin to be biased or cheating, you may request either Wizzeh or I to stand in and mediate the combat. This will be handled on a case-by-case basis, so you will need to contact me personally over steam
As your empire expands, you will be provide more construction points, so those will usually be the least of your concerns. Construction points may also be allocated to complete research. Everyone will start at the same technological level, and if they wish to have a specific "perk", they can contact me. There is also a list of guidelines I expect all participants to follow.
- Refrain from being butthurt. If your empire is eliminated COMPLETELY (all ships destroyed and no planets remain) you are no longer eligible to play.
- Be rational. The CP system makes it impossible to pull ships out of thin air, but I do not want you to be posting that your giant space fleet of war dreadnaughts to appear out of nowhere.
Battles are your responsibilty to fight. I will not conduct combat unless you cannot locate a trustworthy and unbiased DM.
The arena and chance script will be released in the rulebook below.

Set in the year 2199, an alien race known as the "Gamilas" ("Gamilons" in the English Star Blazers dub) unleash radioactive meteorite bombs on Earth, rendering the planet's surface uninhabitable. Humanity has retreated into deep underground cities, but the radioactivity is slowly affecting them as well, with mankind's extinction estimated in one year. Earth's space fleet is hopelessly outclassed by the Gamilas and all seems lost until a message capsule from a mysterious crashed spaceship is retrieved on Mars. The capsule yields blueprints for a faster-than-light engine and an offering of help from Queen Starsha of the planet Iscandar in the Large Magellanic Cloud. She says that her planet has a device, the Cosmo-Cleaner D (Cosmo DNA), which can cleanse Earth of its radiation damage.
The inhabitants of Earth secretly build a massive spaceship inside the ruins of the Japanese battleship Yamato, the Space Battleship Yamato for which the story is titled. Using Starsha's blueprints, they equip the new ship with a space warp drive, called the "wave motion engine", and a new, incredibly powerful weapon at the bow called the "Pulse Cannon"
There have been 7 animes that take place within the series canon, and one that is an alternate reality where the yamato is destroyed by the Gamilas. There has recently been a live-action version done. Imagine the bastard child of Battlestar Galactica and Star Trek.
