I read the rest but I just didn’t really like that you went at my brother for finding and suggesting we upgrade parts


I’ve been looking at benchmarks and whatnot and I just generally think the FX is a decent option for me, it’s outdated sure but I have a loving pentium g series right now, so anything will do, but it’s sucks the hardware is so old

I also compared the benchmarks to the i7 2600 you talked about earlier and the FX beat it in stress testing, got to look into the ryzen though

going to upgrade pc, getting a ASRock 970A-G motherboard and an AMD FX 8350 cpu, with a cool master fan hyper 212 evo fan heatsink combo. Here’s how my computer build would look:


Gpu: GeForce GTX 770 2GB vram
Cpu: AMD FX 8350 8 cores 4 ghz
Motherboard: ASRock 970A-G
Psu: Corsair TX 750W
Ram: Generic 2x4 DDR3 ram
Hard drives: Hitachi 300 Gb and Seagate 500 Gb


Thoughts? Upgrading from ECS H81 motherboard and pentium g3258

Keep your hands clean and rub them on the psu or another metal before touching the motherboard so you don’t transfer static electricity to it


Also get zip ties or cable organizers or it will drive you nucking futs when all the cables are everywhere, you’ll want them
