What's your most memorable moment in any game at any time?

Mines is in Blockland,
I had a crew of 20 pirates (all of them) but this was on my old, dinosaur computer (today is 8 years old, at the time it was 6) we were playing on Slopes Flooded and took over 3 islands with other people on it.  Until my computer crashed.

I don't care if you hate it, I'm making it.  Period. (Big ass period.)

It's School Office Linux, made purely for School and Offices (obviously.)  It's in early stages.  It's made for Live CD.  Current features are...
-Gnome desktop.
-Open Office included.
-Java 6 included (no terminal required).
-Gimp.
-Gnome Apps.
-Firefox.

Off Topic / I Fixed Up My Old Computer!

I got my old, junked up computer and reformatted with a new OS and replaced hardware.  But only basic things (mouse, keyboard, speakers, etc.)  So now I have a working computer.  Also.
Hao2findspecsonlinux.

Good news: It's upgraded, new hardware and OS.

Bad news: I used Linux, Windows XP is being a lovey beast cigarette.

More Good News: I installed Wine so it's run Windows stuff.

Updateb4Edit: I installed Counter-Strike 1.6.

Note: The computer runs fast on linux.

Games / What Happened To The Good Ol' Fun Games?

Games new games aren't fun as the old ones...something about the old ones are so addicting.  Now-a-days it's all "ogm111!!1 halo iz ossum cuz mai peepz sa su!!1!11".  What happened to games that were fun just because they WERE!  Now it's all graphics.  What happened to Half-Life, UT1 or even CS 1.6?  Those games were fun because they were, now it's either bandwagon, or graphics.  It's becoming a less common sight to see a fun game anymore.  Remember I said RARELY, that doesn't mean none.

Discuss.

Edit:  I'm changing to less common, you all are making a point.

Some exceptions I'm willing to make;
-Cod:MW.
-Battlefield: 1943
-Blockland
-Portal
-Team Fortress 2.

You know, shooters with a actual game.

Games / cDoom (Community DooM)

I'm officialy making a IWAD for doom (remake).

It'll be a edit of DooM (Shareware) to be a remake!

(Different graphics and the episodes.)

I'll add pics once I finish reinstalling XP.

If anyone wants to help please tell me.

I don't want to be a annoyance to the community, I just want to make a good IWad and I'll leave you be.

Off Topic / My Computer Is Broken Due to Unplugging. (Software.)

It corupted c:/windows/system32/system/config (or something like that.)

Now I'm reinstalling windows XP.

P.s, I'm using my laptop.

Use my pain to learn, don't unplug the computer.  Unless it's last resort.

I was googling and I found this entire archive of DooM shareware.  This means 2 things.
1.You can play the beta and look through the history.
2.I'm not making a stuffty guide.  
3.Free...sort of.
