true lol, Are you in the dorms at asu? Cause I've heard mostly terrible things about on campus dorms these past few years
I'm at the honors college, so dorms are new and common areas are pretty much cleaned constantly. But yeah, there's some real stuff-holes I've heard of/walked into.

Oh gosh what an awful situation. Good on you for your calm, intelligent responses. You have a good case here—that there is no case to be had. This situation seems akin to the classic police tactic of just "wanting to chat with you, ask you some question, no pressure" and then incriminating statements can be extracted and interpreted from any statement you make. No doubt that's what would have happened if you'd gone in for the meeting.

It sucks that these departments feel the need to almost CREATE a violation when a single person files an unsupported, hollow claim of a violation. They disguise this as just a matter of following due process to ensure safety or something.
Well I mean, lets be fair. trinick isn't exactly sober 24/7.

No, they don't have the required evidence to and even if they did search my room the closest thing to drugs they'd have found would have been cold medicine.
I thought universities could search dorm rooms whenever they want?

My apartment is about $900 a month too. It's great though, brand new (I'll be the first person to live in the single bedroom) and fully furnished with a pretty nice kitchen. Flat screen TV in the living room, stuffs cash.

Moving in Friday. Super excited, I kinda wanna host a party the first night but idk how my roommates will feel.
Nevermind.

And oh, you should really get off that cold medicine bro.

I wasn't "found to be doing drugs." Someone told the RD that I was doing drugs when I wasn't. If they try to kick me out for an accusation I'll have to try out a new benefit I get that provides free legal consultations.
They didn't search your room?

Someone said something about me doing ecstasy to one of my roommates, and they freaked out and told the resident director for some reason, I guess. She already called me in once and I assured her that I wasn't high on ecstasy (I really wasn't) so she let me go. Now, out of the blue, she sent me that email like two weeks later.

*shrug*
Honestly though, you're lucky it was just an email, lol.

If anyone was found to be doing drugs in my residence hall, they'd be kicked out.

The pendulum of American politics finally swings the other way. About time.

What sucks though is I could totally see a republican congress drastically reducing college financial aid...

I took regular calc 1 last year with holmwall and it was really easy. I had never touched calc before and it was very simple. You should be fine if you do all the homework and devote a day or two to study for tests. It shouldnt be too much harder for engineers I believe.
lol, it's bad. Believe me.

Practice
Practice
Practice

Seriously, pull an all-nighter if you have to (assuming you have a test coming up), but do every problem in the book (with Wolfram Alpha to check your answers) and you should get and A.
Next test isn't for a week or two. I guess I can do a weekend worth of practice...

Sounds good, thanks.

I guess that means I'm a democrat.

either way, I'm 16 and have never tried evaluating my "rightness" or "leftness" so I don't even know who to vote for in terms of policies I can actually like.

I'd rather move to somewhere in England anyway.
lol England doesn't have liberal or conservative parties, no-sir-ee.
