I played it recently again and joined a server and first thing that happened was I crashed into a rock and my ship decided to become one with it. i spent the next half hour trying to escape the inside of an asteroid but eventually i just accepted my fate and started driving my ship, and the asteroid went with it.
10/10 would play again.

For twins i debuff them with Golden shower then used Cursed bullets (since i have a lot more of cursed flames than ichor) For skeletron I use the same tactic, but with a lot less flying around.Fishron is a son of a bitch.
Plantera is just run and gun for me with crystal bullets. Gollem is easier, take out at least 1 fist and debuff occasionally. haven't fought fishron yet though

Holy stuff I didn't noticed Aldegar is nearly wiping me off the map... How the forget would that have happened? I assumed they took some territory to the east, not that they just appeared out of nowhere and had the military to stomp across Hlaomarr without even the slightest resistance.

The government has commissioned all resources to go into this war, slaves are being used to build great war ships never before seen in the royal navy. Conscription has begun across the territory, and we're throwing everything we've got back at those greedy bastards. We won't stop this fight until Aldegar is completely destroyed.

I set up an arena with traps in order to kill the small monsters while I focus on the bosses.That's probably where I'm going wrong. I spend a lot of ammo and time killing the trees later on that I should be spending on the giant jack o lantern.

« on: October 19, 2014, 05:51:48 PM »I hate Halloween. mainly because the holiday was bastardized so much it has no meaning anymore.lol that edge. I don't even know what in Halloween could have possibly had meaning, but basically nothing has changed about Halloween in decades or even centuries.
Anyways, if I were to go to some party, I'd probably do one of the Doctors or some CDC biohazard suit. The latter of which would probably be fun to walk around Tempe in. :)

I usually last pretty long and only die a couple of times, but I don't get far enough for the drop chances to be any good. I got the North Pole weapon, but it sucks. I want the razorpine.I find they're usually survivable but I can't deal enough damage to progress all the way through them.
What weapon were you using for the Pumpkin Moon?

Once you enter end game the Plantera fight just becomes you standing inside it and dealing damage while your health barely goes down.
Even with all the stuff I've got though, the Frost Moon and Halloween events are the hardest stuff in the world. Some of those mother forgeters do so much damage...
Also, the giant knights in the dungeons can suck a richard too. They're alright to kill but they're the only thing that deals any significant damage down there.
