As you may know, venom made me a director of his shorty shorts' jackass series, and i'm looking for people who can help when i think of ideas

Venom said that Sonic_Knx should be a director, along with Djy1991, all i'll need is actors that are ready for daring, dangerous, and deathifying tricks lol

I know where to get cyan, bright cyan, blue, bright blue, red, bright red, black, pitch black and magenta, but where do you get green yellow, pink?

And is there a way to get dark red, dark cyan and dark blue besides mixing (example) blue dye with pitch black dye to make dark blue dye?

When i put blue dye on it, it changed the whole shirt, but how do i make it like storeclerk's shirt? He changed the collar and other colors, but not the black part



NOTE: I just used photoshop to change the colors of the white parts to make my (wanted) shirt to look like, and storeclerk's like his is in AoT

Well, i got bored and went looking in the base/data/shapes folder to get ideas for RTB, but i seen this lamp, i was curious, so i opened it up and it stopped ms3d from saving and exporting and importing, and i dunno how to fix it, my brother doesn't want me to do a system restore to before it happend cause he'll loose Empire Earth II, and he doesn't feel like reinstalling it, how do i fix it?

My brother got it working by messing with files, its not right, but we can't get ms3d cause we dont wanna waste our money on it, we're saving up for a 360  (maybe) or other stuff...I wonder if we can get over 19.95 dollars by February 11th :P

Forum Games / [SS] Public server: Group build

The admins of [SS] (well, just Blinkz) came up with the idea of a group build, there's a building theme, the theme is Making a town, have atleast a Foods store, a General Store and a Gas station, remember this is a GROUP build, so we can do it together, okay?

Okay, first, download Milkshape 3D here

Then install it and all, and follow the instructions in this tutorial

NOTE: All of these pictures are example pictures

First, keep zooming untill your view points look like this

Then make a model

Then use the Joint tool and put the join where ever you want the player to hold the item (See #4)

Then click the tab in the control panel (should be on the right) that says "Joints" then click the name that says "joint1", then in the box on the right of the "Rename" button, put "mountPoint" then hit the "Rename button"

Now, here's how to add the part where the weapon fires, put a joint where ever you want the weapon to fire, and go to the "Joints" window by clicking the "Joints" tab, then click the name "joint2" then in the Rename box put in "muzzlePoint" then hit "Rename"

Now for the texture, if you wanna make your own texture, its gotta be 256 x 256 in pixels if you want it to work, but we'll use something from RTB for now, first, hit the "Materials" tab, then hit the button that says "New" then hit the button that says "<none>" then go to a folder in your RTB folder that has pictures, then select it, it'll come out weird, but you'll fix that in #7

Now, go up to the button (or tab) that says "Window" then after opening up the Window drop-down menu, click "Texture Coordinate Editor"

In this window, click the drop-down menu thats over the "Remap" button and choose "left", "right", "top", "bottom", "front", or "back", and hit "Remap" it'll fix your texture and make it look better, feel free to mess with the Scale, Rotate, Move, Rejoin, and Select tools

Now, for the last step, go to the tab on top that says "File" then hover over the Export drop-down menu, and from the list that appears, choose "Torque Game Engine DTS" (I recommend you save it first so you can edit it again incase something's wrong) then go to the folder where you got the textures from, like for example i got a grey.brickside texture, then i'd put my model into the bricks folder, then give it a name, example "rtbweapon" Milkshape 3D will automatically give it a .dts at the end of the save name of course



Well, that's all for modeling, now for coding

Take a .cs in the weapon folder (example; sword.cs), then hit Ctrl+H to bring up the Replace window, then in the top put in "sword" then in the bottom, put "rtbweapon" then hit Replace All, then go to the sounds and put the sound file paths back to normal

Now, go start up RTB, then start a Deathmatch, then scroll backwards, and you'll probably find the weapon you made, if not, then something went wrong, if you get a mounted image error, then something may have gone wrong, sorry, but i can't really help with those errors, i just try to fix it by doing random stuff and if nothing works, delete it and do it all over again XD

Well, i bought the cool black with a white stripe pants, and mixed it together with a bright cyan dye i found at the swamp, and it looks nicer now :) and i also mixed my shirt with blue dye i found in the water behind port town, and some reason, i wanted to experiment with the cyan dye i also found at the swamp, so i mixed it with my shoes lol, here's the results


Note: i was looking the mirror at the time :P
