It's not difficult, it's has to do with the two big console competitors not wanting to touch the each other's box with a ten foot pole.
Or that PC users would have an advantage over consoles.

Wrong its not up to sony or microsoft. Its purely based on the game developer to incorporate a large dedicated server for all systems to connect to.

In the car it's Sirrius XM and when I am at home it's Spotify or even sometimes I bring Spotify to the car with bluetooth and use it's recent update to work with Ford Sync more fluidly.

I think you'd be better served saving that $80 to build a PC that isn't so wildly out of date. I'd be surprised if you could even run an OS newer than Win XP on that thing. I mean, IDE cables? Wow, as far as relevant benchmarks for age go that one's pretty well up there with dinosaur bones

I have run Windows 7 on IDE cables before just for stuffs and giggles, it runs slow as forget, but then again I wasn't using as outdated of hardware as it was only 2008 era hardware.

Parts almost always come with extras. I have a bag full of screws from PC parts that I keep if I need them.

Never know when you're gonna need a good screw!

I've thrown out logic and the theory of having a Steambox as a way of playing games on your living room TV.

I call this the SteamTab or Steam Tablet

Utilizing the steam in-home streaming you can bring your games through a simple laptop or even tablet in this case, to your TV so long as you have 1920x1080 HDMI out and a mouse and keyboard laying around.



Just have to perfect this a bit more so I can tuck it away better.

My friend and I have connected systems so we do half and half on some games, I put them on my various pieces of plastic and he just gives me cash, it's a win win for me.

I was off by 10 GB's, sorry for over estimation, was at work and didn't think it through clearly.  PS3 version was actually 17.2 GB's.  I estimate with the way games are going again still it's going to push near 30 GB's easy, Rockstar probably won't say until January I bet anything about specs required to run it or even for file size for that matter because they do what they want, when they want, look at heists for example on that one.

me but considering the detail of this game the file size is probably gonna be 15gb

Gta IV was 16gb. Gta 5 is adding 4k support. My guess youll be seeing at least 30gbs as the ps3 version for digital was 26 gbs.

Are you implying that rearranging your desk will alter the performance of your Minecraft server?

By that I meant I had to switch from my tower to my laptop and to play minecraft on my laptop on my own server I have to set up a display so all cords can reach and not be a hassle to put back the way it belongs.

TL;DR

Put my bedroom TV on my desk to play minecraft on off my laptop so it wouldn't be a pain in the ass to use my tower and its monitors instead to host the server.

I decided I liked it so I waited until they did the usual 75% off deal for X amount of months and I got 5 months for 20 dollars but when it renews in January I'm just going to pay the 60 dollars to keep it, much better than using bluetooth on my phone or standard FM.

i live in north dakota. the minnesota border is a mile from me. rochester is also pretty close to me. don't do it. it sucks here.

I don't know what world you live in but Rochester is literally no where near loving North Dakota or for the border of either South Dakota for that matter.
