so your saying the GPU needs to output video through at least one display port and it doesnt matter which ports the other two are connected to? and this would solve at least the multiple monitor issue?

Yes that is exactly it

Quote
Connecting multiple monitors for AMD Eyefinity technology couldn’t be simpler. There are four easy rules to remember:

1.The first two monitors can connect to the graphics card with any display output on your product: HDMI, VGA, DVI or DisplayPort.
2.The third (or greater) display must be connected to the graphics card via DisplayPort.
3.If your monitor does not have a DisplayPort connection, you will need an inexpensive active DisplayPort adapter for it.
4.Every family of GPUs supports a different maximum number of displays.

Remember that these are the most basic requirements. Creative designs like the Sapphire FleX HD 7950 or the MSI R7970 Lightning make it even easier to configure AMD Eyefinity technology by reducing, or even eliminating some of these requirements for AMD Radeon™ graphics products. In that respect, always make sure to carefully explore these non-reference solutions and their product specifications when configuring a system with AMD Eyefinity technology by checking with the graphics card manufacturer.

If you are using 3 displays, you will need to use at least one monitor on displayport.  If you don't have a monitor with displayport, just get an active adapter versus a pass-through to something such as HDMI.  Most AMD eyefinity setup's that have 3 or more displays need it for what ever reason.

I updated mine to have LED lighting now that the 3 packs I ordered finally shipped in.  Bad panorama is bad though and has a weird oddity on my center display

Been a while since I have been here, took a hiatus to graduate school and get a nice white collar job (which both have been done already) and have since upgraded my battle station to be 2edgy4me.  Had to start using my old AC1900 router as my wireless card since my internal AC1900 PCIE card is being a piece of a stuff when working with my Linksys AC5400.

specs:

i7-5930k OC to 4.2 Ghz
24gb 2x8+2x4 2666 MHz quad channel DDR4
Gigabyte X99 SLI
Asus STRIX GTX 1070 8GB OC
2X Samsung 28UE590D 4K 1ms response time displays 28"

and a bunch of other stuff that isn't that important and soon to be LED back-lit on the monitors on Tuesday

That's not a store dipstuff, then again you're not the brightest person around these forums so this shouldn't come as a shock to anyone.

I found that using Radeon Pro software + SweetFX has finally given my FPS increase that should have happened when using a 5930k in the first place

Once I get a display port cable,  I can ditch vsync and utilize FreeSync in that 48-75 FPS range sweetspot

I create my own mixture of mods, in fact I run my own modded forge server that is still up and running as I type this.  I'd consider letting some people on if I know they can be trustworthy enough not to grief my wonderful creations

If you are interested just add me on steam @ Surburb or just PM me here on the forums either one I'll get the memo
