I had tried making a Mesh item for my dad a few years ago. It was hard. I applaud any content creator on SL who makes good looking Mesh items, let alone character models.

I had the same problem. Add

Code: [Select]

host_writeconfig

to the end of your .cfg and it'll work. My .cfg only had problems with overwriting viewmodels, but everything else worked. Added that code and it started 100% fine after that.

Which is technically modding. Only difference being the tools are already at your disposal, no extra software required.

You aren't modifying the client or server, only using existing tools in game to create user content.

Actually I see it as a counter-political tool. I've seen multiple posts around the net about how this guy was given a bulletproof vest upon arrest, but then a comparison picture of a black guy getting arrested "brutally".
