Really it feels more awkward using a tablet mainly because of how different it could be than just pencil and paper stuff
It's why I never wanted to get a regular tablet. So I skipped the middle man and got a LCD tablet. Still took a tiny bit of getting used to, but it's leagues better than a regular tablet.

No. Your work will look worse, then, as you get used to the tablet, you'll work your way back up to how you draw normally on paper. Everything else after that is totally dependent on pure skill. Tablets aren't a magic slate of talent.
