I'll also say that the biggest issue is that the majority of people that still play are really experienced players that have been there since day one. This puts a strain on new players, especially because of the bad matchmaking. It's not super terrible in the beginning because it will usually match you up with fresh players as well. But once you get past trainee and into bronze ratings, it'll throw you against anyone. Again, playing with friends and experienced people will greatly improve quality of play when you start. Then when you become proficient enough, you can solo-queue and do alright.

I often get gold rankings but I honestly don't deserve it. I end up playing on the silver districts for an hour and get kicked back to silver rank, where I can go to bronze dists and do decent again (and also play with the majority of my friends).

I've actually seen a decent argument on the payment system for APB. It's not that terribly P2W, there are some really loving dangerous people who use the stock gun, which many say is the basis for balance on a lot of weapons. And inversely there are people who use some of the "OP" weapons and absolutely suck.

Honestly the BIGGEST issue I have with game, but can sometimes just get over if I'm playing with friends, is the atrocious matchmaking. Also the game isn't really that dead, the main channels are almost always full, and that's all I ask for tbh. It's a flawed game, for sure, but it has redeeming qualities that keep people coming back.

I decided to give this game a try because of the thread and it seems to be giving me a much better time since I last played. That may be because I actually understand how most things work now..
I'm extremely close to getting the car I want (have the money, I just need to level up with Akiko) but the servers are barren except for a few people who have nearly 1-shot guns. It's fun and all, and I'm not that bad against them, but their guns do just enough more than mine that I keep losing to them and I'm on a crawl on the XP bar for Akiko.

When selecting a District, go into the advanced tab. If you want to join Financial, choose Channel 5 if you're a Silver or below, and choose Financial 2 (I think) if you're Gold. Those are the two highest populated channels. They might be full when you try to join, but just keep retrying until someone leaves the channel.

To anyone who stopped playing because of the difficulty barrier, it may be worth trying it again with some of us seasoned players. We have ways to get you up to par with everyone else in terms of gear and we can teach you methods for being able to stay competitive with the really hardcore players on here.

I will say that I managed to drive a little under a mile while loving high out of my mind on an edible, going to a concert. Managed to find my way to the venue in town and park. I recall like maybe a 1/3 of the drive. Would not recommend doing that again.

I'm not a menace to society, I swear.

I actually played this game before, it sucked and it seems it still sucks.

Just get GTA V.

Last I checked, GTA V wasn't cops vs robbers, and didn't have the level of customization that this game does.

I also don't have to spend money on APB, so.

the concept art is 100 times cooler than the game

True. There are a lot of flaws in the game. It really isn't that fantastic, but it has its charm. Its a forgetton of fun to play with friends.

Jericho, Enforcer, usually Silver, sometimes Gold, VigilSerus

if anyone wants to know my true stance on this issue:
i believe that weed should be legal for recreational use on your own property only (and other people's property that invite you inside to do it)
you cannot drive while high in same way you can't drive while drunk and you cannot smoke it and be high in public
you should be able to buy it from legal distributors that have a license to sell it and a regular shop license
18 years should be the minimum age limit for buying and using

This is rational and I agree with all these regulations.

I like that most people against marijuana that have had any inkling of experience with it have one bad thing with it, and instantly assume literally everyone has the same effect. stuff, if we'd ban Tylenol or other o.t.c. drug just because one person had an alergic reaction to it, and assumed literally everyone gets totally forgety and almost dies from it, we'd have a pretty forgeted up medical system.

Here's some news for you, and I'm surprised you haven't seen my statement before:

Everyone does weed. Literally people you don't expect. People from all ages. Its those people that you don't bat an eye to. Yet when someone acts like a cunt and makes a big deal of it, you assume that it's the whole user base.

the mere fact 70% of you are defending it scares me. there's a reason people tell you to don't do this stuff. it's like you want life to be harder for you, but instead you chose to fight the system like a habitual twelve year old who won't take no for an answer.

good luck in the adult world.

I'm glad the antiquated drug war propaganda still has some followers.
