I loving love how the god damn solution to every exploit problem isn't to "fix it", It's to remove  the loving feature.

Glad to see this is a fix.

I would assume that this isn't intended to be a permanent solution, rather to be as a substitute so that people don't exploit the SMF avatar function.

Do you expect to see a difference in performance and/or reliability? You have an SSD, in where I assume you're using it as a boot drive. You're not going to experience any sort of difference in performance.

What does it matter if youre getting an SSD anyways?

You can get 8TB's for the price of 2 WD blacks.

Planning to build a top-end PC with a $2k budget for a friend, and for some reason he wants a CD drive

I have a Galaxy S5
I cant afford a new phone, nor do I need a new one because I rarely use it aside from music, web browsing, and calls/texts
I don't need a 240hz 4K display OC'able phone when I have a desktop that does and does it better/cheaper
