it's because they are both a particular kind of stupid and it's causing some kind of bizarre interference that makes them both even stupider around each other

Started to add textures and buildings. A lot of the buildings I will be texturing myself.

Started getting O'ahu into Blender over the weekend after making some adjustments to the OSM file to fix roads overlapping and other minor issues. So far I only have the roads and water imported. I'm hoping to have this done sometime in June, or at the latest, early July, although I don't make any promises with release dates as I like to take my time and polish things up, and make sure everything is right before I decide it's good enough to be released.

It's been a little while since my last update here right? Well good news everyone, new cars are in development! Most of them commissioned by members in the community.

This is the Dalton Bronx commisioned by Kane, it's a car based on the 1992 Chevrolet Caprice, currently it includes a Taxi and Police variants, but a wagon will be made soon.


this will probably be the only thing i ever drive again on my server once you release it.

Will you release a build save to go with Oahu that adds in brick scenery (trees and stuff)?
I'm actually planning to add in trees with the map itself. OSM2World does generate trees. I'm planning to use the same method that those old 3D trees hidden in BL's files use for transparency. I'm also going to try my best to hand-place traffic lights, freeway signs, etc.

So tonight I'm beginning development on the final version of O'ahu, with textures and all. I've figured out how to get OSM2World to not stuff itself whenever i put larger files through it so that's also going to help. I'll be posting here more as I work on it (obviously)
