Suggestions & Requests / Server Addon :Select Playertype

I had an idea for when you start your server you can have this add loaded
and it would allow you to select a playertype to use when playing.

Technically the Host or Admin sets what player types can be used in the list using prefs.
Then when you use the command or gui it would display the available playertypes.
You would be able to change player type without eventing a brick and clicking/touching it.

And every time you respawn , your playertype will be set to the one you choose before, you would also be able to change it whenever you want unless host or an admins changes it so it changes on respawn or instantly.


A more clear description of what this is :

When your tired of eventing a brick just to change playertype, then having to click or touch the brick you have a GUi or Chat command that lets you change playertype at will without the need of a brick, ofcourse the admin or host can make a list of the playertypes that will show up in the playertype select menu.

Then you can set your playertype to that and you will always spawn as the selected playertype until you change it or there can be a pref for if it changes on respawn or right away.

This is a thread made so people know what addon's are causing problems in Blockland, if you notice some of these causing issues please post the File name and normal addon name if possible, it would help to post who made it too.

This is mainly to find out what addon's cause issues, so you can remove them until their fixed.

|These Work Properly but have a strange glow or texture glitch when Shaders are turned on|

• Majority of TF2 weapons

      ||Unknown Texture Glitches and lag?||
|These Work Properly but for some odd reason have green lines on them and most of the times for some reason lag people just by looking at them or atleast shown on the Test I did with different level computers|

      ||Addons That Crash Servers||
|Not in any single way should you enable these addons when hosting a server, they can be used to crash it thanks to the new way physics work on vehicles, these are on top priority to get CRC'ed|

• Vehicle_PodRacer(If hit with a hammer, well its obvious)
• Vehicle_Zeppelin(Same as Pod Racer)
• Vehicle_HotAirBalloon(Same as Pod Racer)
• Vehicle_Balloon(A version of the Hot air Ballon that is lower detail)

       ||Addons Being Fixed||
|These addons are either being fixed by their original creator or someone else, some do not function properly at the moment(Sometimes function properly but have glitches too)|

• Unlimited Mining

If there are more please post, these addons have been tested on 3 computers with low, medium, and high settings by that I mean a computer made for
Blockland v20, one that can run games like Portal 2 and other games at high settings, and one that I recently bought used that can handle Counter Strike:GO at Medium settings.

*Medium and High Setting computer where used in Offline mode as they where not connected to the internet*

I typed this on the computer built for v20 that is in need of upgrades in case you where wondering but to clear up the version of Blockland I am running is v21.

I am requesting a Arwing from the original Super Nintendo Game Starfox.
Its the ship you fly in the game.


Someone made one but it was never completed or it probably was but not released.

Also what I mean by Starfox 2 is to make a version that has the blue Parts of the ship an orange color.The game was never released but I have a copy as I got allot of beta stuff.

AR games? What are those?

AR games! Now explained.
AR games where, you put a card down and you aim the 3d camera at it.
It takes a sec to get the settings right, and when they are, you
see a box that comes out of the card in the camera
You shoot it, and it multiplies into 6 other boxes and you have 6 choices
They are:
Graffiti, star pictures(only one i will discuss), Mii Photos,
forgotwhatwashere, Archery, and Cue Ball
Star pictures is what the other 5 cards are for;
Pikmin, Samus, Link, Mario, and Kirby.
You can pose them, put them together to make pictures, and even
pose the most annoying character ever: A yellow box with eyes.3D pictures!?! What? How?

Yes. You can take 3D pictures, obviously but not just that
now you can record in 3D too!
You can also use the outside camera not only for 3d pictures, but
for certain games (see: Face Raiders.)Face Raiders sounds fun. What is that?

you take a picture of you or someone else, and shoot it on a few robots.

Help / Player stands up after using weapon in vehicle.

I would like to know what addon causes this, I bring out a weapon in a vehicle and then put it away and my Blockhead stands up, its getting quite annoying and I still haven't figured out what addon causes it, I have tried a Fresh install in the past but no luck, everytime I try a fresh install it still happens I have also cleaned out my addons folder of known crcs(crap-ons)I have seen this happening to other players in certain servers so it must be a addon on RTB.

This addon would play any .ogg titled Blockland_Beat.ogg on the main menu, I just want to experiment a bit with
this addon and see if I can make it play something else.

Help / What GPU will run Shaders at High/Ultra

Well I need to know what video card would run Shaders at Ultra Settings.
I needed to buy a new video card to improve performance but I don't quite know what to look for, My computer supports PCIx16 and I have plenty External Power connectors in case it needs one hooked up.

I perfer to have one that can run them at Ultra, If not I will deal with high.


Pricing is however a problem, I can't spend more than 300 to 400
US Dollars on a video card.

Suggestions & Requests / Gamemode - Rising/Lowering Lava

So technically a gamemode where you set lava to a certain level and it rises to a certain point, it comes with a OnLavaTouch event, Lava Lower, Lava Rise.
There could be a way to get it to lower back down to a certain point, maybe add an event for when a button is pushed along the way the lava is slowed down or it goes down a a bit for a while before rising again.

Winners are determined by the amount of survivors, an option to enable and disable addons would be nice, much like custom mode.

I'm talking about those that Move slow and have their arms up, they have no walking animations, and no face, their head is light green and so are their arms, and the shirt is Brown and so are the pants.

I know some people are going to say "Go play Roblox" or "LOLOL ITS FROM ROBLOX SO NO" But people have asked for this before.

Heck why not make a L4B Zombie that Looks like a Normal Blockhead but in this style.

And maybe someone can make a Rocket launcher that slowly fires a Rocket and then makes a crappy explosion.

Suggestions & Requests / Blockland Startup Password System

I and maybe some other people would find it useful for someone to make a addon that when you load up to the Main Menu it prompts you for a password you set before you can do anything else, like join a server or go on RTB or start a game and most importantly change the options.

It would be useful for the people who have brothers/sisters or other family members and even friends that go on your computer without telling you or something, who cares its a very useful thing.

So Whenever you start up Blockland it Prompts you to enter the password correctly.
And if not you can keep trying all day but you can't play.If you forget the password its inside the addon folder or wherever it saves the pass, and if you remove the addon it goes back to normal.

But really who is going to look in your addons folder?Odds are they wont even know what to delete or do in there.

Drama / Setro2 - Votekicking anyone who was using the wand.

Ok so I was playing at K9 Kid's Server and so a couple of us are waiting in the lobby for the next game, and some guys started using the wand to hit others, so I started using the wand to hit others too, then setro2 decides to have a sissy fit and start vote kicking everyone that was using the wand to bounce people, and he got away with 1 or 2 people, then he asked me to stop using the wand, so I said, I stopped in chat, thinking he was going to use the /cancel vote command, so then the next round started and I was immediately kicked for 10 minutes, so I later asked him on rtb why he did it.



Yea he keeps using the excuse, "It was too late"Over and over again.
In the end he uses the excuse " It wasn't even a permaban" right after he tells me to shut up a second time, so for that second time I got pissed off a bit and decided to remind him hes not all that powerful so I say to him what many people though about him on the forums, and in reply he decides to block me for saying the truth.

In the end he got what was coming to him, he lost the round according to what he said by "you disrupted my gameplay" "starfish".

Well I say you deserve it, you got a chance to cancel the votekick when I stopped and you didn't cancel it so jokes on you you payed the price by losing a round.

I think the only starfish around here is setro 2 for abusing the votekick command over just being pushed a couple of times with the wand.
I mean come on, doesn't he think that we where going to stop whenever the round started?And that wasn't even in the round!It was all in the lobby waiting for the next round.

I mean you guys can probably understand why a called setro a 6 year old, just look at his posts.

General Discussion / NeutralZero's old Spyglass TDM

So I was looking through my saves and I found my old TDM in Spyglass, everyone loved it because it was so simple to play, if you played on my server I had a different name, I used the name ShadowZero but now I go by NeutralZero because titles like Dark and Shadow became overused.Anyways I found the save while checking compatibility, I looked back and realized :"Even though its simple, it looks like crap"
so now I decided I'm going to make a new spyglass TDM.

I remember Kalphiter Said it it ran well and I was running it on a crappy old computer, but now I will be running it on one of my newest computer builds, it may not be too new but it will run circles around my old computer meaning even less lag!

Anyways I am remaking my old spyglass TDM and this time it will be a 15 vs 15 game instead of the original 10 vs 10, the bases will actually look good and people will no longer be able to spawn sentries inside the enemy base, there will still be the classic good vehicles, 2 light tanks, one tank, and a hidden van.
But I think I should change some, maybe I should add a Plasma Tank somewhere that works for bot teams and whatever team gets it gets the advantage!

I will be posting pictures soon.
