« on: May 08, 2013, 05:58:41 PM »things shouldn't be default because the builder wants their name in blockland it should be because the build is coolYour implying if there's a track that somehow breaks something in the game yet it looks cool it should be added anyways.
Requirements for default?I'm pretty sure its to just use default Blockland addons, and not use anything else.

Damn I knew I said I was going to stop arguing but...
Just drop it, terrains where ugly, and so where interiors, and because of maps existing some forums users thought they where special and had a higher priority over others because they knew how to make maps.
The loss of Interiors and terrain is a good thing , it was made Blockland even better encouraging people to build new terrain or find new creative uses for existing things, and with Shaders we no longer look like a game from 2004 we look like something new and fresh.
Also an an average Lego game doesn't have a robust modular addon system, I could make a list but I'd rather not.
So for those ignorant dumbforgets who want to keep bitching about terrain, get with the times, its not 1999 we don't need terrains or interiors where better than that, the only reason people have quit Blockland is because they don't want to get off their lazy asses and begin building, as soon as they start they see what they have ahead of themselves and they just decide to stop building and cancel their build.
Back then in v20 if you wanted to host a server (Lets use a fortwars server as an example)
You just built a couple of bases with doors and items inside and vehicles outside, and duped the thing on the other side of the map, but with a different color scheme, and bam you got a server

Either way this stuff shouldn't be here, people app for admin to help administrate the server not to go online get bored and leave the mini game and experiment by building stuff and use things that you aren't even supposed to be using.
Experiments like that should be done at your own server, not here.
Once again...
When people app for admin they do it to help administrate the server, not to mess around with stuff their not supposed to do and make their own bosses, that privilege got revoked after players asked why they couldn't have their own bosses or mini-bosses.
On a side note, I think we should be more strict with admin apps, on the last batch some apps got accepted because the majority thought the person was a "coolbro" when the person barely fit the requirements.
Overall people should quit being biased on giving a good word only because the person who apps is a friend.

« on: May 07, 2013, 11:11:41 PM »It would ave to be an entirely separate application.Our current vehicles work fine with mod. terrain, I have never had vehicles get stuck in bricks or bounce for no reason, unless you build stuff wrong.
And they also made vehicles way more practical.
Anyways Badspot did say he was going to fix vehicle and brick compatibility a bit more.
Vehicles are still practical, therefor the reason is invalid.

No, terrains encouraged people to be lazy and build on top of existing terrain, instead of building terrain, and mapmakers thought they where "special" because they could make maps.

Maybe we all get in a group, go to a bunch of servers with 2-3 players, then say stuff that blockland players always make fun of, but then when they make fun of us, we would have more players to back ourselves up. Then those players who bully might get a little afraid of that happening again and stop.
Just a thought.

Never mind that was actually a pretty bad example.
We're not annoying them, we're saying stuff that gets people to make fun of you but in large groups, so when they try to bully us, we have a large group to back ourselves up. Because after that, they might think a large group would be there and just not say anything. It would only work on some people, but it's worth a shot.
For me, if you start bulling people on my server or be immature, it's an instant perma-ban. I just wish it was like this for all servers.
Using horrible grammar and making handicapped jokes.
And on a side note, then it turns out that those people are younger kids, and their really annoying to deal with, I think we should be trying to attract more mature players than younger players.

So I was on Monkeyfunky's hide and seek server and out of absolutely nowhere Eepos shows up posting Authentication keys on chat.
I don't really know Eepos very well at all I only helped him with a UI mod, but I found it completely random for him to do something like this.
I really hope the keys are fake, I didn't know if these where real or fake so I decided not to black them out.
Still this is kind of forgeted up, I wonder if hes been to other servers posting keys in chat...
