Do I have to DL riot shield?

and to get it on my map you have to use additem.

Help / Prompt + addItem = no work for me

Any servers using bricks with the following events do not work for me, ever.
Or anything similar that involves those two events do not for me on any server.
When I click Yes on yes/no Prompts, nothing happens. Yet, when I tell somebody that it wont work for me, it always works for them.
I don't know if it could be a Client-sided add-on, as I have deleted all of the ones I find useless.
