I try to find the vertical street the three tanks are on and follow it.

You now lined up and flying above the four lane road the tanks are on. At your current altitude, you are mostly safe from errant skyscrapers, but even a road as long as this one is covered very quickly by a jet, and you will have to decide what to do with the tanks on the next turn. Otherwise you'll overshoot and have to set up again.

Tippy decides to tempt fates dice by going for one of the MBTs by going in for a run with her main gun.

Berkut base EV 85
No piloting bonuses or penalties
Large Size provides penalty of 10

Roll granted by supermaneuverable: 51 - Success
Test passed
Though she cuts it dangerously close, Tippy succesfully dives below the skyline and comes back out intact with another tank to paint on the nose.

I fly over to the target and head down the street to fire on the exposed tank with my KSM

You fall in to start your attack run, and are greeted with a shudder and a bang as your wing clips the side of a building. You abandon your run to ascertain the damage.

I try to get a good angle on the armor, then wonder what the hell I'm supposed to do because I can't weave through buildings and I sure as hell can't drop bombs straight on these forgeters.

You never know until you try. I promise you will not instadie from a botched roll, I'm not that cruel.

Richard takes a shot at cruiser 2's SAM launcher with all three beam weapons.

It launches a pair of missiles as open fire on it, but by destroying the turret you eliminate their guidance, and they are easily evaded.

Gus reminds himself to thank them for that. He drops three more of his AAMs and radios the AWACS to get 5 more AGMs.

The unit's commander gets to work with the Laser Designator and lights up a few enemy armor units currently attempting to advance down a street towards allied positions. Be advised that using missiles may cause unwanted (or wanted, depending on your attitude) collateral damage, and attempting to use guns will require an evasion test to get between the buildings undamaged.

Actually I was mistaken, "Wild Card" isn't the IV ending chevo, that would be "No Gods, No Masters". He doesn't even have that. Despite pranging on and on for page after page about how many amazing different endings you can get, he hasn't completed NV once, at least not without cheating.

If you spent more time playing the game rather than bitching about how you just want New Vegas 2, you might actually have something interesting to say.

The most amusing part about this autastic rant is that despite him decrying Morrowind because you can lock yourself out of the game by murdering everyone, he seems to have forgotten entirely about Yes Man, a character in New Vegas who's essential to prevent just that from happening. NV can get away with letting you murder whoever you want* because it has a contingency plan for dipstuffs that go around trying to kill everyone they meet, the Independent Vegas ending. Surprise, surprise, Tony's only NV completion achievement is "Wild Card", the achievement for completing the story by siding with the only character you cannot kill. Disregard that I suck roosters he hasn't even completed the game.

period race giveaway you say

I have been keeping track of the results of each period race. Each race I "lost" (that is to say, every time I voted for a period that had less votes than the other at the end of the "race", except that one race I forgot to keep track of, which I am counting as a loss.) is one game (up to 40 dollars in cost) I will buy for one of you during the Steam Christmas sale. As of right now it is looking like there will be 3 lucky people getting a game, maybe 4 depending on how this current one ends up (it will end at midnight EST on the 24th).

really sorry about the lack of updates, work has been getting busier and busier leading up to christmas and it's got to the point where by the time i get home i don't feel like doing anything
it'll probably pick up again after the period race giveaway but for now i've just been exhausted all the time
