They are not firing on the ground, but Cruiser-1 is rotating to face the squadron. Whiskey picks up a radar lock.

"Ive got to find Grizzly. Anyone know anymore specifics on the whereabouts of those tanks?"

: When we last had contact, they were taking cover in the old buildings by the river. Smart move, if you ask me. I can't say I'd be able to bring myself to fire on the Hrorekstad Cathedral, no matter how many Huits were crawling around inside it.

Mjolnir finally comes up on Tultitlan, a gleaming white beacon of civilization among a sea of unkempt jungle. Even from miles away, you reckon you can count at least four different stadiums and coliseums clustered around the downtown area, with the commercial district's dozens of skyscrapers popping up behind them. Off to the east, near the outskirts of the major metropolitan area, a number of more primitive stone buildings are spread out along the river bisecting the urban sprawl. Tourist, being from this place, is able to immediately recognize them as historically significant temples and early observatories, dating back at least a thousand years. Looming over, or rather, around said ancient city district, are three Deltan airships. Though you cannot yet ascertain the situation on the ground, the one in the air is very clear.

Because they're hotheaded and overeager to get into a scrap, pursued a retreating unit inside the city to finish them off, and then got their exit closed on them. Now they need someone to come save their asses.

i wanted to swap aircraft before the mission so i could take esam but since that's not happening i'll just let the sabre do what it does best

edit: i'm swapping out the fusion engine and extra flare for esam

I'd keep the fusion engine, supermaneuverable would greatly benefit a plane based around using guns and dogfighting. ESAMs arent required, don't let people harass you into spending ordnance points on taking them if you don't want to, especially since this isn't an incredibly high stakes mission right now and the Sabre's got a limited ordnance capacity as it is. This is not something that requires two ESAM (or even this many people for that matter), you aren't flying against super-aces or protecting a critical asset or attacking a superweapon. If worse comes to worst you'll just lose a few tanks and soldiers, and incur tippys wrath.

the Original Trilogy cast weren't always too great. Mark Hamill had some vary peculiar moments in Episode 4 in particular.

Such as? I'm not saying you're wrong, I just can't think of any bad-acting moments off the top of my head.

: Two days ago, elements from the 45th Armored Regiment broke through the Huit lines outside Tultitlan. Since then, said element has ended up encircled and is currently attempting to take shelter inside the city until friendly forces can break them out. You'll be providing close air support for the encircled group while Raiden helps the rest of the regiment get to their position, or at least open a path of retreat. When we last heard from the trapped tankers, they reported two Maglev Dirigibles approaching their location, as well as an uncounted number of enemy armored and infantry targets. Prepare for lots of enemy armor, but don't count on the skies being clear. I doubt whoever's in charge of this operation would send those airships in without fighter support, or VTOLS at the least. And don't worry about the Sky Marshal, ten minutes ago he was reported attacking Mercanan supply ships off the northern coastline. We won't be seeing him today.
