I think the new pokemon are too new age techno pop retro. They are all shiny and bright colored. Like a Japanese pop show gone mad.

And that is loving cool. One of maybe two Sinnoh pokemon I actually liked. (The other is Porygon-Z, but it sure as hell isn't because of its looks.)

I'll probably do what I did in D/P, pick grass, get fire from a friend and never even see the water one.

I liked the original Crysis aliens because they weren't your typical bipedal alien invaders, they were more like War of the Worlds. Aliens that posed a threat when they showed up, not cookie-cutter mooks you cut down by the thousands.
