it'd help players against ciws emplacements

stealth helps you sneak up on and disengage from enemy targets
it will not prevent a CIWS from shooting you and/or your missiles once you alert it by attacking the ship it's on

Why are we having this whole conversation about bullets when shrapnel is the #1 something cause of wounds in war.

Because blockguy is implying that the lack of thigh armor is bad because you can shoot them in the legs. The rebuttal was saying that no personal armor (with one significant exception that'll be posted later, maybe even today) on Requilary will save your legs from being shot.

She holds her breath and flips it on.

The power turns on, but the machine remains still.

Huit helmets are legit bulletproof, able to straight up stop 5.56mm GTO standard rounds. They're the only faction with this distinction.
