I pipe up from the nearby crate after painters remark "she was going on about how the engineers are unappreciative - seemed upset that its probably being shipped away to be ripped apart and she doesn't get in on the fun."
meanwhile bell fills out the requisitions form for the ppc and runs to the requisitions office to submit itThey grant your request, but ask how you knew there was a PPC available in the first place.
"She's a little- messed up in the head- as one would put it."
be it from V, that weaponset still looks a lot like FTL'sreally not seeing it, especially not on the visitor pistol and rifle

"yeah sure whatever. Stick it back in a crummy old box so people with no ambition can poke at it with a stick."
Tippy frustratingly heads to her dorm. The rest of what came in doesn't really seem to interest her.
I open a panel on the bot's abdomen, and I locate the switch. Off it goes.Yukamo gives Nick a hand putting the bot back in its crate.
I speak up:
"Nope. A marine got angry at it because he thought it was the combat version!"
Tippy starts looking for ways to pick it upIt doesn't want to be picked up.
She grabs it by the foot and drags it a littleIt kicks you in the hand.
Yes-Man would be happy to help. Just ask him!let's assume that's what she did when looking for help
Bell looks for any interesting plane gunsYou read the labels on the boxes. A lot of them are crates of infantry weapons and equipment, but a few catch your eye. A Beam Cannon here, a few Pulse Lasers there, and even a pair of Particle Projection Cannons. Hopefully a few of these weapons will get to stick around and not be immediately shipped off to R&D.
"Hey tin-head, whats your operating system?! Or say your usual mambo-jambo."It continues to lie on the ground, sparking and twitching. It remains silent, either because it didn't understand Tippy's excited tone or because it isn't keen on divulging Helian trade secrets. Or because it's so badly beaten up. Or even offended, you never know.
"Because it doesn't know what attacking is, silly! When you hit it, it thinks of "falling box", or "collapsing shelf". Why would they make a hauler capable of fighting? Wait, why are you breaking it, anyway? I'm not sure we can get our hands on many of these..."
"...huh. Wonder what those are."Someone who overheard you fills you in. Apparently, all sorts of captured enemy equipment are coming in from Taiton. As you go over you see just what sort of equipment they're talking about, you notice that there appears to be a bit of a scuffle going on; An Aesthian marine (note: not Jurgen) is standing over an unarmed Helian automaton, brandishing a pipe wrench. The machine's self-preservation protocols are readily apparent as it attempts to shield its more vulnerable parts from each incoming blow, but it makes no attempts to counterattack.
No. You have already proven your inability to cooperate twice.
