But in the event that you think he'll call you out on it I can have something in place to invalidate the claims...if you trust me.
: What do you have in mind?

"Take a seat."
She sits down.
: I mean, it's not like there aren't any Aesthian mechanics at McNamara, if that is how you guys deal with things over there, he could have gone and got one of them. What if he picked me out on purpose, what if I was supposed to get caught? What if I do get caught?

My neighbors probably think I'm alcoholic seeing as I walk like one half the time and I drink from weird bottles.
you sound like a real winner

She takes a deep breath.
: Before the Taiton offensive, Mjolnir's commander- the one with the beard, not Major Kibble, he told me to make sure Guerra couldn't bail out if something went wrong. He said it would be better for him to die in the seat of a plane, rather than get disgraced and executed in court, or something. And I did it. I didn't even question the ethics of doing it, I just did it. And it's been eating away at me ever since, like, was that the right thing to do? Would he have just found someone else if I said no? Should I have reported him?

"Shoot."
: Really? You'll give your word that you aren't gonna repeat this to anyone?

Yukamo gets back from whatever she was doing right as Tippy finishes replacing the window and disposing of the last of the broken glass.
: Oh good, you're still here. Listen, there's something that's been bugging me for a while and I need to make sure you won't tell anyone about it.

Also Xenonauts says hello

sorta

i based abs fiesta's status cards on TACO PIG's interception cards (which were more or less ripped from X-COM's interception game) which were then combined with mechwarrior-based locational damage

Sorry for not asking. Your credit though.
It's not like I can get on your case for using that method to convey information, it's not like it was 100% my idea (though I'll take this opportunity to explicitly state that i don't want people using Requilary as a setting without permission). If i could suggest something though, dropbox is a really helpful image host for the status cards, it makes fixing mistakes a lot easier.

Tippy cradles the small but surprisingly heavy window in her arms.
She makes her way slowly back towards the apartment complex
You get a few looks, but nobody confronts you as to why you're carrying a window.

Have any of you seen Black Lagoon?

Tippy heads for the hardware store with the intent of finding a small replacement window. She follows down a few blocks and takes a right.
You are able to buy a window to replace the one you broke, but it takes a good chunk out of your remaining spending money.

Or when room service comes in to find that your room is trashed
as far as i know, apartments don't have room service
that's something for temporary arrangements

She throws up her translation pad and points it at what appears to be a guide on the wall nearby.
There are roughly a dozen electronics stores within one square mile, as well as a video arcade, art gallery, a tank museum, a small hardware store, and a history museum. This is in addition to the local monuments and other tourist attractions, mostly just old buildings of some historical significance.

yes-man rents a small prop plane in north mercana

I put on my swimsuit, and badass-looking aviator shades and head for the pool.

(Assuming there is a pool. It's a tourist hotel, so why not?)
there sure is a pool

In the interest of time (and because I want to give you all an actual mission sometime this week) I'm gonna skip to tomorrow.

Sabre, Lefty, Gladiator, and Crash all have checked into their hotel in the Mercanan capital.

Yukamo explains to Tippy that she has to go deal with some things by herself, and hands her a spare set of keys to her apartment and a translation slate so Tippy can go into town while she's out.
: You work it like a camera phone, point the camera at something and the display will show the foreign text translated to your language. Can't really do anything about the verbal language barrier, but Aesthian is a common enough language that you should be fine.
