General Discussion / iEvent Open Event - 6/19/16 @7:30PM Central Time.

SUNDAY. JUNE 19th. 7:30PM CENTRAL TIME. TOMTHEGEEK'S SERVER.

We will be hosting a open event in our auditorium to show off what we have in store for the rest of 2016. To make things way easier to announce things, we will be using a discord server with everybody muted but The Loser and TomTheGeek. At some point we'll probably open the channel up so if you do have a mic or want to ask a question via the chat, we'll respond to it that way.

Clan Discussion / iEvent - Campus is up...again

What is iEvent?

   
     iEvent is originally a eventing clan that I started in 2009. We done things like BlockoWorld, started the New Years' server trend, and did nothing after that. I killed off the clan in late 2011 due to personal reasons, and also due to a failed clan merger (Blockintosh). I feel this is a great time to start the clan up again but in a sense of not basing the clan around computers and technology. iEvent is now a clan based around social events. Our main focus is to make great builds that bring people together and have a great time.

Joining iEvent.

Joining is as simple as joining the iEvent server and showing me what you can do for us. Contact TomTheGeek or The Loser if you have something that isn't technically a build, such as modeling or coding. You can also contact us for questions about the clan.

• wtf is dopewars?

dopewars is a port of an old DOS text based strategy game called drug wars, with added features such as multiplayer.

Drugwars is a turn-based strategy computer game in which the player assumes the role of a drug dealer engaged in arbitrage. The object of the game is to deal the most drugs to pay off the "loan shark" (who charges interest) by the end of the game and make a profit. Drugwars was originally a DOS program created by John E. Dell in 1984.

server IP = 74.208.75.183 (port 7902, the default one)

NOTE= i have literally NO IDEA how this plays online, so if anyone wants to come on and try this out, i wanna see how this goes.


literally the only reason why i am posting this is because i am addicted to it on my watch and i realized how much fun it is on the pc too. lets see how much fun you think this is.

• i joined this forum when i was 12.
• i've spent almost a decade on this forum.

after almost 8 years here it blows me away i still love this place after all this time, never thought i would end up being here for THAT long. the power of the internet, man.

anyways, my teenage years are over, i'm literally posting this from college because forget it, why not? i've spent all of my teenage years with this community and it's been a great time, and i'll still be here while i'm doing life things like school and work. my final teenage years were spent battling some dumbass tumor in my face (which left me two screws in my skull but hey i guess you can called me SCREWED up  ), which i'm happy i don't have to go through more surgery or anything like that.

enough rambling, happy birthday me.

since i don't want to fly across the country, i'd figure i'd do a really long stream with loads of games, not one real time flight in a 747.

i'm planning to end the stream at around 2:30AM CST.

if enough support, i'll do this until 4AM CST.


winter corner and stuff is around the break, so expect some type of long flight with rings/comatose again.
