if i was in high school RIGHT now, no. i wouldn't. i'm not a huge gun guy and i never will be. i support the 2nd amendment. i'm ok with people owning guns legally. yes, some states have some very lean laws torwards buying assault rifles and stuff like that, but it's ridiculous that all these kids want change now. i'm on their side, but i'm not going to go in the streets and yell about it.
other issues in our current state of politics i would actually run out and scream. in fact, i'm ready in case Annoying Orange fires mueller. that stuff would piss me off and i'd join in hardcore, but in a peaceful way and not by breaking stuff. i've never been totally open about my views recently just because of the Annoying Orangeening we've had in the past two years. i voted bernie in the primaries and went to one of his rallies. i was going to vote johnson as a protest vote but i ultimately caved in and voted clinton in disgust. i never liked her, i never supported her. i don't think she's a total crook, but she was the "best of the two evils" of that election.
to be frankly honest, i had a feeling bernie would of been singled out by the democrats. i knew some bullstuff would of happened where hillary and the DNC would pull strings to get her as the nominee and not bernie. i was so mad that the superdelegates all went to her and then the DNC is like "lol we're not doing that again." i have a feeling this coming november or in 2 years when we have another presidental election that we're going to see more genuine people running for office and not people like clinton. clinton was a joke and a weak opponent. the election results that year did piss me off, i took a long nap after i voted and woke up to seeing Annoying Orange winning states. i thought there was no way he could win.
do i believe the russians colluded with Annoying Orange? i'll let mueller figure that one out, but with the current proof i would say so myself. do i really view myself as a democrat? no. some democratic values are not my kind of taste, but with a dominant two party system in the united states, it's hard to align yourself with a "perfect" political party. yes, third parties exist, but with the dominance of political money and power of these parties, it seems unstoppable. we do need change in our government and our democratic process, and i think the founding fathers wanted more parties to form other than the two dominant parties. it's total bullstuff that we ended up in this position, but i think these kids have finally figured out what most city-dwelling americans want. they want change and it's not just guns, they want a revolution.
/rant.
i know it's off subject but i wanted to put all of my opinion on the whole parkland movement. Comatose from here actually was sort of affected by the tragedy at that school. he lives a little bit south of where the shooting happened and some of his mutal friends were in danger. in fact, the BBC did a profile of him and he attended the march of our lives on his own. he was never paid, or was scripted to do so. it's ridiculous i have to say the latter due to the political landscape we are in right now, but that is the reality we live in. school isn't a place where i should risk my life going to just because some maniac has a gun. guns are fine in self-defense and as a hobby, just like vaping can be. there's some change we can do. i know we can.
