Holy stuff. AT&T is getting caps for only 2% of their customers. Thank god I am not part of the 2%.

Also, it's an okay idea, Torque exists for the iOS, just Badspot would have to pay for another engine, and an Apple Dev Licence.

That's not Blockland though. It's almost impossible to battle in a ping over 200 in Blockland.

That's because Torque is so old. Source could probably tackle the lag.

TomTheGeek has much lower pings top people in the US, being about 190. Kalphiters pings are like 200-300.

that's actually a pretty nice improvement there.

If someone in the US is 190 for you, then your internet definitely sucks.

huh.

I go to TF2 servers with about that amount of ping, and I really get no lag whatsoever. That's like 20-32 people.

Datacenter has much more speed/bandwidth than your home connection. You likely would not be able to support the large amount of bandwidth needed to host large servers for other people.

After reviewing Kal's post, it states that you bought one from him.

Why that looks like why your acting all fanboy-ish.

I get a decent connection, like a really decent connection. Trust me, I've been hosting these for over a couple days now, they work.

He decided this was his next attempt at getting his own part of Blockland after his "Cloud" turned into fog.

There was nobody doing this, thus he needs SOME competition.

Happy April Fools'! Or "Troll day" I suppose.

Summary on why I wanted to do this.

I just got a spare computer with 4 gigs of ram, 2.20 GHz processor, 250 GBs of space, and etc. I had nothing else to do other than a Blockland host, but I thought why not do a service out of this? Techically it was a thought, but my friend, Frontrox said we should do it, and we tried it for ourselves.

How to get a server (For now)

Since I am doing a beta stage on this, so I am keeping a limit of 8 servers.

Contact me on the forums, and I'll tell you specific instructions.

Skype is required for direct contact.

You will need to know how to use:

• FTP
• EVAL
• Managing the prefs.cs

Wow. We loving had a discussion about Roblox today at my lunch table.

I loving lol'd and said "Blockland has a better community, but I played Roblox too."

And this table is FULL of CoD players, Minecraft, and Runescape players.

I still don't know what console I should get :S. (PS3 is better IMO)
