Games / Fullscreen games not centered
« on: July 30, 2012, 04:27:24 PM »
Whenever I go into fullscreen on any game it is not centered. the image is a bit to the left and a little down. I'm using my TV as a monitor. For some stupid loving reason if I try to take a screen shot it just appears as a big black box. What the forget.

For some reason Minecraft isn't affected.

Off Topic / Left handed watches
« on: July 30, 2012, 12:23:10 AM »
I can't seem to find any adult watches anywhere. All I'm finding is wither $1k - $2k solid gold/silver luxury watches. Or kiddie $10 - $20 watches. All I want is a neat/cool left handed watch. Nothing ridiculously priced. Nothing over $100 - $150.

Games / Buying a Nintendo 64
« on: July 27, 2012, 03:10:08 PM »
Where's a good place to get a new Nintendo 64 for a cheap price? I mean, I know they're collectables and somewhat coming back to the spotlight and all. But It's a 16 year old console and I really don't feel like spending 300 dollars for one. One for like 150. MAYBE, 200, don't count on it. My dad used to play Shadows of the Empire and 007 all the time, but the console we had broke when we moved from our apartment to hour house in 2001. And he had the games since they first came out.

If every person were to donate/give $10 a year for 5 or 10 years. The US would be out of debt.

Games / Erythros' Minecraft Millénaire Server
« on: July 20, 2012, 05:10:53 PM »

Basics
I got a new computer recently and feel like hosting again, so here I am! I am hosting a server that is not factions, nor is it vanilla. As you could probably tell from the title, my server is implementing a beta version of Millénaire for multiplayer! As of this thread's creation, Forge API and Millénaire are required to join (Downloads below). Just a few simple rules to follow and have fun!

Downloads
These are required to join the server. It's not that I will kick you. Forge API will kick you until you get them.

Minecraft Forge API: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?3xadmcxl9o6hmla

Millénaire 3.0.0r1: http://millenaire.org/php/dlpage.php?file=Millenaire3.0.0r1.zip]

Rules

1: No PVP unless the other person(s) agree.
2: No griefing
3: Do not attack/grief villages. This is a beta version and a very very new concept from Kinniken. Although I highly doubt it, it could possible break the server.

Connection

millenaire.us.to

Note: I did not make these mods or pictures. Millénaire was made by Kinniken. Millénaire pictures from http://millenaire.org/. Minecraft Forge API was made by the Forge API team; their website: http://minecraftforge.net/forum/.

Games / Borderlands Graphical Error
« on: July 15, 2012, 07:03:56 PM »
My brother just tried to play borderlands on his new PC and he had a pretty bad problem with the textures. Wherever he moves, there is a black circle underneath him of blackness.

Is there a way to fix it? I thought it's probably a corrupted file or something from either the gam's installation or DirectX installation.

Off Topic / Monitor issues(?)
« on: July 09, 2012, 06:47:01 PM »
So it seems to me that my new monitor has a problem. There is a gradient of brightness starting at the bottom. So really, the bottom half of the monitor is brighter than the top. Is this normal? Is there a way I can fix it, or do I have to send it back?

Off Topic / So I'm looking to buy a new TV
« on: July 03, 2012, 07:31:19 PM »
I'm looking to get a new television. The sad one I'm using now is a RCA ColorTrak Plus (Figure 1 - 2) and it is just an old television. So I ask you, what should I get for a new and modern one? I currently have my eyes on this one: shortenedURL. My brother has had a 37" Vizio TV for about 3 or 4 years and he hasn't had a problem... so far so I'm assuming it's a decent brand.

Two questions though:
1: Does it really matter the 60/120MHz refresh rate?
2: What exactly is the difference between LCD and LED?

Figure 2

Note: That's the same model of my TV, not my actual TV. So I'm not the one in the reflection.
