tbh there's quite a lot of good people that play the game that i've talked to over time. this kind of stuff is inevitable, unfortunately.

I'm not saying there aren't any good people in a fandom, but I've met a fair share of creeps and losers within the Splatoon fandom. One instance was when I was apart of a "clan" where this gay dude was the leader and founder. He threatened to delete the entire group and kill himself if this straight guy in the group he was super into wouldn't be with him. The wimp eventually gave in and became a homoloveual with this guy. It was at this point that I said forget this and decided to not get involved in the community, considering most other people in the group seemed to revere the guy, kind of like how Heavy's fanbase revered him. This video really did remind me of that handicapped incident tbh.

Yes, I'll agree with you, there were a decent amount of good folk I met over the years between playing Splatoon 1 and 2, and they didn't seem creepy, but the fact that this community is becoming well known for having creeps and child enthusiasts are major red flags. These same red flags completely ruined the Minecraft fandom.

Splatoon is still an amazing game, definitely one of my favorite shooters ever and I play it almost every day, but oh god the community is very bad at times.

I just don't get how people are obsessed with this game. I don't want to step on a pedestal and say "fortnite loving sucks reeee" while sounding like my opinion is the rule and not the exception like every other fortnite hater, but I absolutely can't stand the gameplay. I played PUBG on my iphone and it was a million times better than fortnite on all platforms. I guess I just hate the gay building mechanics in this game, makes me feel like I am playing minecraft hunger games. And even then minecraft hunger games was better than this overrated garbage.

One major reason why I left this game after playing it for maybe an hour or two is that whenever I am shooting someone at a relative distance, they can easily loving pusillanimous individual out by building a fifty foot tower in less than two seconds, which is absolutely ridiculous. Then atop their tower they drink their blue semen drinks and then try to shoot back while they take cover in case I fire back. This stupid building mechanic absolutely breaks this game for me. I feel like there's no valid reason why this stupid mechanic should be in the game, other than allowing Epic Games to declare that Fortnite is definitely not a cartoony PUBG rip-off.

At least I made some space for Nier: Automata on my PS4 by deleting this trash.

The splatoon fandom as a whole is really loving creepy at times. I've met some people who practically spammed splatoon research in discord chats, and just acted very loveual and creepy, and it didn't sound ironic either. It's because of this that I don't bother finding people to play splatoon 2 with anymore and of course to preserve the purity of my starfish.

Speaking of may the 4th, I don’t get the hate for rogue one. I thought that it was a very good movie, and was miles better than episode 8. I liked the characters, and I thought they were all well written. Yeah, I get the common criticism is that the main character is a feminist cash grab, but then thing is unlike Rey from the new trilogy, she’s not really a Mary Sue. All of the supporting cast is very likeable too in my opinion, especially the reprogrammed imperial robot. And of course, rogue one has one of if not the best portrayal of darth Vader.

Rogue one is a really underrated movie, sucks that not a lot of people liked it. Episode 8 on the other hand was complete ass.
