Games / Codemasters i honestly loving hate you now
« on: August 13, 2012, 09:33:38 PM »
http://community.codemasters.com/t5/GRID-2-General-Discussion/With-regards-to-roosterpit-view-a-statement-from-Executive-Producer/m-p/17778/message-uid/17778#U17778
like what the forget you're making a goddamn racing sim but you're not adding roosterpit view because "only 5% of users use it"
it would take them what a week to make all the roosterpit views

and that's not the first time you cut corners
Dirt 3 was a loving disappointment the rallies were way shorter and it was stuffty console port

i love this part though

we can use the extra available memory to make the on-track racing a truly mind-blowingly immersive experience.
bullstuff you're using the loving EGO game engine
oh yeah that's right you're catering to console players instead of PC players

We certainly don't want to alienate any of our fans we want to deliver truly exciting features that 100% of our players will enjoy. Videogame development is always about trade-offs and in this case, taking the hard decision to lose the in-car views for 5% of our players (and remember we still have bonnet cam and bumper cam, which many people with racing wheels use), is something we felt was more beneficial to everyone. They are expensive to run due to the requirement for high-resolution interior textures which are seen close-up and require a considerable amount of in-game memory (to store) and processing (to render).
even more loving bullstuff Pholyphony made GT5 look loving incredible on a console and those interiors are detailed to forget. So why can't you do the same?

i'm not loving buying GRID 2 now

Suggestions & Requests / Missile attack gamemode
« on: August 10, 2012, 12:11:35 PM »
this gamemode would have a team of people in a save that are trying to kill the missile controller. While the missile controller try to kill the other team before he gets killed

the controls for the missile launcher would have a fire button and four direction buttons to control where the missiles go

the map would be set up where there is a missile launcher not too far away from the save and it would have about 7 missile holes

the other tires that came with it.

the remote compared to the height of the truggy

now i just have to go outside and break-in the engine (that's 0.25 cubic inches big)

1.the BMW logo is supposed to be a spinning plane propeller since they made plane engines during WWI and the first jet engine

2. ABC stands for Aluminum Brass Chrome and is used for the piston and connecting rods on two-stroke engines
