He said any resolution that size or bigger. So yes. He can resize it, it's not hard in the least.

That's not what I meant. I know how to re-size images, I'm not handicapped. I took his resolution requirement as it has to be natively 1000x800. Stretching images does degrade quality.

It is pretty much illegal in the first place. It allows you to customize and alter the iPods code and gets you apps for free. The thing about it is I know three people that have jailbreaked iPod and have not gotten caught. So true it is illegal but it's happened so many times that you have a small chance in getting caught and will probably just get an angry letter... The first time. Another thing is it makes it easier to get viruses made specificly for jailbrokeb iPods. The fact that you are asking BL forum means that you really shouldn't do it.

It is not illegal you moron. It's your iPod, you can do what you want with it. The only illegal part is if you get cracked apps, but that's not what jailbreaking is for. There's plenty of freeware apps and themes you can get, not to mention not having to use iTunes every time you want music on it.
