unless the 49ers have some sort of comeback in the second half they're forgeted

The secret to winning the game is, you have to score points.

I think if the 49ers can score more points than the Ravens, they'll raise their chances of winning.

Baltimore, that was an AMAZING touchdown.

Current score:
Baltimore: 21
49ers: 3

Final score:

Ravens: 67
49ers: 6

Maybe it could be a stun gun where you have to hold it. Then your team would handle the rest

I was thinking something you could use to pick off single enemies without alerting the whole team. Unless of course they saw you and/or had voice chat.

So silent bullets and no pain/death grunts would do.

I forget where I saw it, but there was a website that had a download for a text file with pi calculated to an absurd amount of digits. I think the file was petabytes in size.

Spy needs a silenced pistol.

Not sure how it would balance, but it would be cool.

Saint Augustine proposed the idea that the "days" in the bible weren't actual 24 hour days, but it wasn't until the 1700's that people questioned the 6000 year old figure. They came up with an age 75,000 in 1774.

It took until the mid 19th century for anyone to assert the Earth was older than previously thought, though humanity was still young. John William Dawson, who believed everything in the universe was created as is (including life), proposed that the Earth had been around much longer than humanity, and that the bible supported this belief.

All of this was in the wake of research showing the Earth was at millions of years old. Creationists conceded the age of the Earth, but not the age of life on Earth...

...until Charles Darwin proposed the concept of evolution.

Even into the 20th century, early day-age creationists were arguing for special creation.

There are other theories of creationism that aren't young earth

And "day-age" creationists didn't exist before the discovery of evolution. They're just looking for any way they can to cling on to their false belief.

>Assuming every creationist believes the Earth is only 6,000-10,000~ years old

That's the definition of creationist. Believing god created the Earth and all life as is.

Isnt this info old?

they recently shut down halo 2s pc servers

Not 'till February, actually.

That makes me think if they're shutting down the Halo 2 servers, maybe they're going to be letting Valve run them.

Games / Halo CE, Halo 2, and Halo 3 have been added to the Steam database

HERE IS A GRAIN OF SALT. PLEASE TAKE IT.

Stolen from reddit because forget originality.

Some entries have been added by Valve as test apps for the first 3 Halo games. Could it be possible that we'll see a Halo 3 PC? Maybe they figure it might be profitable to port it to PC, since Halo 3 on Xbox 360 is all but dead.

Screen in case it's removed: http://i.imgur.com/zIXAr4O.png

There are also community pages for all 3:

Halo CE: http://steamcommunity.com/app/216760
Halo 2: http://steamcommunity.com/app/216780
Halo 3: http://steamcommunity.com/app/216800

Also relevant blog post:

Halo 3 confirmed for Steam!!!!

Actually, no. Not by any stretch of the imagination is it confirmed.

Since a few hours ago, we have started processing Steam Hub names in the database. Some people noticed things such as Halo 3 appearing in the database. Now, these Game Hub pages might very well be real/truthful, since I have no idea how they are made. Does Valve make these, or are they automatically made when a publisher enters/reserves a game?

In both cases, there are lots of errors in the Steam Database, some bigger than others, and this might just be one of them. Is it a placeholder and is Halo 3 actually on it's way to Steam? Or is it just another Steam Hub page that one of the publishers made for name-reserveration's sake? Or did some completely different developer need a cover to put a test version of his/her game under? Who knows?!

Everything you read on this site is subject to change, and until there's an official announcement from whomever is making whatever, it's not 100% truth. For all we know, at one point all the Halo's might have been coming to Steam, until they decided to go XBOX exclusive with Halo 3. We know just as much as you do. For now, let's just take the Game Hub information with a pinch ton of salt.

We've notified Valve of these strange Steam Hubs and are waiting for a reply, in the meantime come join us on IRC (#SteamDB on Freenode) to discuss this.
