I sincerely hope you have a good bow and poison arrows cause there are two archers that i could only kill by poisoning them and waiting.

They're not even that hard. Make a beeline for the one on the right, and the left one can't hit you.

Right. You made me remember this video which I saw a looong time ago and holy stuff is it perfect.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y9h1oqv21Vs

He even loving says in the video "While the order of operations isn't technically wrong, it's morally wrong." From a getting the correct answer standpoint, there is absolutely no problem with it.

And for the record, I was never taught ever that multiplication comes before division, or that addition comes before subtraction. It was always left to right. That will still give you the correct answer every time, even if it's "morally" wrong.

Like I've said, this problem is only ambiguous for people who do not understand the order of operations.

my math teacher said it's 2.

Your math teacher sucks at his/her job.

forget, people. This is why we have order of operations to begin with. 48/2(9+3) is not ambiguous at all. There is only one solution because the rules we have in place were put there to make sure everything has one solution every time. If people weren't morons and knew how to follow the rules, these "argue over a solution" threads wouldn't exist.

look i don't want my BLF account to get banned OK
will it?

Why the hell would you get banned for a board on 8chan?

That's like Badspot deactivating your account because you searched midget research or whatever you're into on Google.
