What does "really sick" mean? If a human said it you'd expect them to be fine in a couple weeks, but you killed the cat. What's up?

yeah only once a week...

ps they started a year ago

they released about 2 videos a day
Do you really think they take 20+ minutes every day to record GG? Ever heard of "Grump day"?

also you starfishs game grumps was not only the reason jontron and arin stopped making a steady stream of videos

examples: http://youtu.be/ZL1Ig--LJ2g?t=2m52s
Yes, thank you. I posted that yesterday in this thread.

Anyway, whatever you might think the reason is... you're wrong.

However, it still seems like there's something we don't know.

Bad video. He takes several minutes to show just a couple things, and we're barely shown any of that "magic" at all. The rest of the video is unnecessary, now that we have this video.

First of all, the eye is not inside the triangle.
So? It would be a little too obvious if someone was using the EXACT same symbol everywhere, as opposed to variations of it.

Second, magic does not mean illuminati. Magicians are not illuminati.
Says who? Do you know an illuminatum?
Witchcraft is promoted a lot in movies, video games, etc. You'd be surprised how much witchcraft there is in Star Wars if you'd ever look into it - no, that does not mean believing the first YouTube-video you stumble upon.

You can read whatever you want on the internet. Believe something that actually makes sense, if you're going to believe at all. I don't recommend deciding on things that don't make much sense to you.

Those of us who pay attention know that GameGrumps doesn't affect JonTronShow. They record GG once a week, and Barry does the editing.
Jon has a girlfriend, though, and he could have left to live with her in NYC
Jon also has had some sort of problem with The Game Station, which GameGrumps is a part of.

The strange thing is that if Jon and Arin knew beforehand what was going to happen, it seems they would've told people about it prior to changing everything. Some things like SteamTrain were obviously planned, but Jon seems to be in a different location in Ode to Jon, which is suspicious. Why wouldn't they have recorded it beforehand, everyone at the same location, if it was planned?

It's as if some big thing happened that made Jon suddenly leave, and they're just trying to play it off as Jon focusing on his own show, instead of telling the whole truth.

Off Topic / What film is this?
« on: June 10, 2013, 03:47:40 AM »
It's the 1700s or somesuch. There's a scene on a ship where a man jumps down into the water and there finds a big hole in the ship, (so it's like filled with water?) and does something with some big cloth piece that hangs over the hole. Maybe it's a sail, I don't know.

Does anyone know what film this could be?

Yeah, the reason I follow the 'official story' isn't because it's extremely well substantiated. I just believe it because everyone else does!

The fallacy in Nymethus' reasoning is that he's assuming that people consider the 'official story' true entirely because it's predominantly popular. What he's missing is all the evidence that points to the 'official story' being true.
Explain to me what my reasoning is. I posted a video I thought was interesting. What's the problem?

Conspiracy theory: a theory that explains an event or set of circumstances as the result of a secret plot by usually powerful conspirators (http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/conspiracy%20theory)

Stop ignoring context and playing stupid in order to make a point about an "invalid" use of a word.
So, by definition, the 9/11 comission report is a conspiracy theory. What's the problem with that? Why can't we use words according to their real definition?

He's just trying to make his crazy bullstuff appear rational.

From now on, treat the term 'conspiracy theory' as synonymous with 'government conspiracy theory'. At least within the context of this thread.
What do you want? just wondering

I watched the video for 20 minutes and could tell that.
but you won't tell us why you think so. this is what I don't get.

The concept of not having free will falls under the purview of philosophy and therefore is a highly academic opinion. You cannot argue with the fact that you are the only one responsible for whether or not you're happy with the life you're living.
Either thoughts spawn out of prior causes, and we're not responsible for them, or they're random, and we're not responsible for them.

Ever tried thinking of something before you thought of it?

I didn't claim the theory to be reality. You're functioning solely on popular belief right now.

Nymethus deactivated his Facebook. No idea if this topic has anything to do with that.
It doesn't. Ask me via PM next time.
Also, stop posting here if you're not going to say anything.

It seems most of you in here are way more concerned about this than me, yet you won't watch the video about it. Most of you claim to know everything (not sure how you would) beforehand even though you don't know what's in the video. What can I say, you seem to let popular belief control you.

Good, we agree then. I don't know which quote you refer to.
"The good thing about science is that it's true whether or not you believe in it."

I didn't say that. The word "Norwegian" was used as an adjective, refering to the the origin of the pictures (painted by Theodor Kittelsen, a Norwegian).
I guess the problem is that "Norwegian" could either mean that it's the Norwegian version, or that its origin is Norway.
