in vase case everyone missed this:

this is a problem with our current society.
we think it's wrong to kill things before we eat them.
as long as we don't hear much about the killing we're usually fine with it.
some people even become vegetarians because of this bullstuff.

Lies. The Horde and Alliance are pretty much equal when it comes to technological power. But Horde would win because of brute strength.

Did you ever think of putting a SW guard vs an orgri guard? Notice how one of them is actually wearing armour. including a shield.
Adding to that, as I said earlier, most of the Horde are at the stone age or something. Look at the Taurens, Orcs, Trolls etc.
as for the towns themselves, SW is a fortress. Orgrimmar is a pit with sticks around. undeads are easily trapped in their little UC under the ground.
Ironforge is a loving metal box/armoury thing and dwarfs can dig a tunnel to surprise you wherever they like, plus they have flying gryphon legions and stuff.
Gnomes have their planes that shoot down all the silly orcs trying to pilot something that shouldn't be in the air.
I probably forgot some stuff since I haven't played the game in a year or something but ya
